I didn't have to delete any save data, I just chose to upload and overwrite the current save.

! Lock on was giving me some major issues during the fight

I got her down to the last phase, not realizing that she couldn't see me and was just desperately jumping to try and catch me. I had no vials left at that point. Very tense, heart still pumping hard after that one lol

Meh. Fuck this. Getting owned in defiled chalice now. I'm going to toss in the towel as these chalice dungeons just aren't fun to me and I've never really cared about trophies or achievements. I've dumped just under 78 hours into the game. And as one who isn't great at hard games I'm happy to have gotten all three endings and made it to the defiled chalice with no co-op, no glitching and no item duping. Maybe I'll give it another go later on, but I have too many games waiting to be played to keep docking around woth the chalice dungeons since I'm not enjoying them.

That's no knock on the game. It was amazing and own if the best experiences I've had. The chalice dungeons just aren't close to the main game I terms of design and quality. Too repetitive and bland. But I'll definitley be keeping the game in hopes of some good DLC!

nope. I dont have your dungeon doors unlocked. I did it in my own but not in your glyph. Come get me and we can run through to all the elevators shouldn't have to fight anyone because all the doors are at the start of each dungeon.
 
Just finished NG+ today. I was going for the ending with the M
oon Presence
boss and it didn't seem too difficult until I got caught by some attack that prevented me from using blood vials. That effect didn't seem to be wearing off so I just decided to throw caution to wind and go for it and actually got away with taking the last third of its life bar without taking a hit. I think I might take a break now and play something less stressful.

I went back to layer 1 but the bell is crossed out now. I'm not sure if that means you have to complete layer 1. That's really dumb.

Yeah, I set the chalice to open. The co op system is so confusing but I guess that's part of the charm of the series. Wish Chalice dungeons didn't require all the bell stuff though. They aren't really fun to go through on your own.
 
So which weapon should I be shooting for in the beginning if I want to do a bloodtinge build with the cannon and chikage as my primary goals?

leveling has a very minor effect when it comes to bosses compared to learning the tendencies and practice. A person at level 70 that understands the boss is likely going to stand a better chance on the next go then a person with little experience or knowledge at level 100.

To me arguing that finite vials encourages you to leave and refine yourself is equivalent to saying that to illicit improvement of your three point shot in basketball you should force a person to take free throws, which that person is are already elite at.

I still don't understand the obsession with vials, i have beaten almost all bosses without them, i use some to learn the patterns and then it's just learning to not flock up. Once you learn their patterns almost all bosses, no chalice, haven't done them all, can go down in 5-10 minutes at most. Using 20 vials in a boss fight can almost feel like cheating tho.

I find vials to be a more important resource in exploration.

Just use "GAF" or something. Doesn't need to be the gaf password (which the one you said isn't it anyway and best not to say it cause I think gaf doesn't want lurkers using it).

Also, stand by the locked door with the purple/green lamp lights. I think being directly at the Hunter's Dream lamps might cause problems cause it didn't let me use my bell in that room.
 
After the 20th or so try, i finally beat Cursed and Defiled Watch Doge. Feels good man.

Still not working... huh. I think summoning in chalice dungeons might be kind of broken. I rarely got anyone to join me and couldn't join anyone else, but had no problems doing either with the main bosses.

Sorry man, I feel like I wasted your time. Honestly though, I appreciate the effort. Co op does seem overly complicated for chalice dungeons.

. Figured I'd take a look around. Was invaded by 2 hunters, killed them and proceeded through the level. Oh shit,

!!! Figured I'd give it a chance to study her moves, and was able to one shot her! Used all my vials but I did it! Fuck I love this game.
