Their lives are literally made, as are their children's. What compels them to do things that will leave them penniless is beyond me. I still can't get over that Chicago Bear that wanted to be a fucking druglord. You're getting paid well to play football, so fucking play football.

EDIT: Thanks for the updates, Odinson.
I believe he was making more being a drug kingpin than in the nfl ha

He definitely seemed guilty based on the evidence. RIP Odin, too bad Aaron decided to be a gangster instead of just being an athlete. Then there were those other murders he was linked to...

Sad that Odin lost his life. Sad that Aaron threw his life away for this. Seems that the jury was careful in their deliberations and came to the right conclusion based on the evidence that I heard in the case.

Thanks for updating this thread. Don't think I could've kept up with this any better than in this thread.

Your welcome! Thanks to all the posters who subscribed and followed along.

I'm happy for Odin's family, sad for Aaron's. The choices we make in life come with consequences.

As a father, i weep for his mother (and the parents of the deceased). All you want to do is protect your children. The pain a parent must feel to see your child in a fate like this.

Oh Aaron. You had the world.. but you had to play thug.

It seems crazy that he could hear that he was guilty of murder in the first degree and hardly react at all.

Edit:

Thanks for all the updates Odinson.

Even when you've made it, sometimes all you really care about is the respect of those with whom you grew up. There are many ways of showing that you're still down/haven't changed just because of money; AH murdering Odin and possibly others is just one way to express it.

In hindsight, his biggest mistake was killing all of those people

See ya dude. Keep up that tough attitude.
Man he seemed like such a sweetheart. His poor wife. /s
And yes thanks Odinson! I didn't post at all but read all your updates.

This is what I thought too. He looked like it was just another day. Yet, I guess if you know you did something, and had so long to prepare for it. It might not phase you as much, because you expect it.

He really should've considered killing less people, or maybe not killing at all.
I almost. Almost feel sorry for him. He was a thug who was entitled his whole life and never shown any consequences. Maybe if his dad had been around his life would be different.

But man. Fuck this guy. /byebitch

Kudos to the jury for taking the time to come to a smart and rational decision. Not only is this life without parole, but he has another double murder case waiting in the wing. Regardless of appeals here or later in life, this man will end his life behind bars. What a complete waste of talent.

Thank you Odinson for all of the updates.

There are still two other people that will be tried for this murder. Wonder if they will now change to a guilty plea for a lesser sentence.

Well they might still be charged as accessories... which was best case scenario for Aaron this whole time.

Wow, I was not sure he would be found guilty. What an idiot. Threw away everything. I think Aaron Hernandez shows that some people are just born to be fucking killers. How do you have so much and randomly kill 3 people and shoot out anothers eye? Crazy.

Wow.

Just an unrelated side story; me and my buddies were boarding a plane to Vegas back in 2011 and noticed Hernandez and his girl were in line for the same flight.

As we're boarding the plane we notice Hernandez trying to buy the window seat from a passenger for his girl; passenger declined and as my friend is walking by he says to Aaron "guess your NFL money isn't good enough!" in a joking fashion.

Hernandez then gave my friend the coldest stare you could imagine, looked like he wanted to kill him. We joked about it at the time but in hindsight kind of freaky lol

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage

Circumstantial evidence is more than enough in many cases.
