Ahh ok, thanks. I knew Iron Fist was the last stand alone before Defenders. I'm not too excited about JJ, but Luke Cage will be awesome. I hope he and Danny (Iron Fist) are bro's like in the comics.
 
The moment the 10th episode ends and you think, great season but a disappointing finale somehow and all of a sudden there is a episode 11, 12 and 13. Awesome.

Best real life comic series so far.
 
I will admit I was a little underwhelmed with the finale few episodes but the season all around was great. Bring on Season 2
and keep the flipping to a minimal!
 
Minor Ep 4 comment:

The comment about the "man in the iron suit" or the "Guy with the hammer". I always like seeing these tie ins.

Really enjoying this so far. Just a step below Flash. Great time to be a superhero fan.
 
Just officially began watching, saw the first episode. I'm glad the story has hit the ground running.
Also, its so weird/interesting to see this new brutal and seedy side of the MCU. Stuff like this makes me wonder about all the crazy stuff Nolan's Batman probably had to deal with between the Begins and Knight that we never got to see.
 
I'm 5 episodes in.

Man, these fight scenes are amazing. The first one in my opinion was kinda too kung fuey, maybe I'm just crazy, but that fight in the end of ep.2 was probably one of the greatest choreographed fights of all time.

A lot of schlock action films have heroes beating on henchies like nothing. Whereas in this you see Daredevil getting exhausted throughout the fight. It all drags on, in a good way.

I also love how the camera kind of stays in one spot for most of the fight. Even when the fight takes to the room next door, you just hear what's going on.

For fighting yeah I agree. I really didn't like all the close zooms on his face to be honest.

I think the Oldboy fight was the best one by far. Kept waiting for the camera to pull out in the final one and it never did - lots of close shots and cuts.

As a long time MCU fan, I'm glad that Marvel's diversification of their projects is bringing in a new audience.

You have no idea how many times people told me "this movie will change your mind about MCU" and I left the theater feeling exactly the same as I did with the last movie lol.

Daredevil does everything so right. It's exactly what I want from superhero stuff. I really wish they'd give Spider-Man something of this quality but I doubt that'll ever happen.

Come on, I already posted the reason why I said that. When the project was in development at ABC couple of years ago, they didn't shy away from explaining that they wanted to hit a wider audience with AKA JJ, including a toned down approach. That same showrunner is now attached to the project at Netflix. And Looking at the set scenes. Hell, I don't know, Daredevil might just be the exception to the rule or not, I don't give a damn about it.

The quote you posted is from before the Netflix deal. How they'd have to tone down the story if it was on a network channel. That it would be easy to adapt without toning it down on a cable channel

Now the show's coming to Netflix. We don't have to worry about network restrictions anymore

Finished this up last night, and I have to say that this was my favourite Movie/Show from the MCU so far. And that usage of Luciano Pavarotti in the last episode was perfect.
 
I loved some of the planting of seeds of shit that will bear fruit in later seasons. Fisk mentioned that he wants a file on Matt, for those who have read the Bendis run they are laying the blueprints for later seasons when Matt gets his
identity exposed
<- not really spoilers and introducing his Greek gf. I imagine the next season will mix together Bendos and Miller even more and then from there it will be all Bendis. It wouldn't suprise me if either Elektra and/or Bullseye didn't make an appearance till Season 3

Man, I'm not even 10 minutes into Ep 10 and it's rouuuugh.

Matt stammering and crying as Foggy asks him if he really did blow up the buildings was gutting. You could tell that absolutely broke his heart.

Foggy straight up asking where Matt was when he was calling/etc earlier was some cruel shit, too.
