Episode 12 -Still got nothing on Matts flips https://gfycat.com/SneakyAngryArmadillo
Most of those flips are ridiculous(and not really in a good way), but I love the second one, simply because it feels the most like a Daredevil panel coming to life.
This show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn they killed it with this!
Arrow has the better fighting, tho.
I felt like the finale was one of the weakest episodes but I really enjoyed the series. It's far better than the ABC shows and I really have high hopes for the other Netflix series now.
Finished episode 8 and have to say, after all the glowing responses everywhere, I feel like I'm in crazytown.
The show is just plain boring. Scenes go on way longer than necessary for no reason.
Cox is not a very good actor.
Foggy is a terrible actor and a terrible character.
Kingpin is awful, both in acting and in character. It's like if Christian Bale did the Batman voice for every second of all three movies, not just when wearing the suit. I'm supposed to believe that this regular-sized-but-portly guy, who appears to be socially retarded and overall a ridiculous, hesitant, insecure, apologetic man-baby is the most feared man in the underworld? There is nothing to suggest that he would be a frightening figure in the MCU. There is not even the excuse of the original comic book character, that clueless nerds wrote him as being made of "solid muscle" "like sumo wrestlers" and is thus a 6'7", 450lb wrecking machine. He's just a totally regular guy, physically -- albeit an out of shape one -- and mentally/emotionally seems like a big pussy.
Not sure why we're supposed to buy Vanessa's attraction; he's a big man-baby creep whose only selling point is, I guess, that he's a criminal? And this appeals to an art gallerist why?
Not to mention his motivation islifted verbatim from Ras Al Ghul's in Batman Begins.
Dialogue is typical comic-book fare, i.e., mostly bad.
The show looks nice and most of the fight scenes are pretty good, I'll give it that. And Rosario is excellent as always.
I liked the Stick episode and that's it.

His greatest villain, Wilson Fisk played to icy perfection by Vincent DOnofrio isnt even seen for the first three episodes, and when hes revealed in an art gallery, hes anything but menacing. Its one of the finest decisions made by Goddard.
I disagree. Most of the fighting in arrow is people standing in a circle doing lots of flips and spinning. The fighting in daredevil is probably the best on TV.
I was listening to geekbox podcast and one the hosts stated teenage mutant ninja turtles was based off Daredevil.. ie Stick=Splinter. Hand=foot.. Any truth to this or was he just joking?

This show is really good and I like the entire main cast so far. That pretty much never happens.
Can't wait for S2!

Episode 7:Will they explain later what black sky was exactly?
Episode 12 -Still got nothing on Matts flips https://gfycat.com/SneakyAngryArmadillo
Well, Sebastian Bloodcompared to Fisk. Although, in both cases he managed to be discovered bywas a lot better at hiding his mother and his murder of his father when running for office. But she wouldn't be believable, becausethe lawyer related ex-girlfriend of the main lead's best friend.. It is literally the same story.the old lady doesn't remember as good anymore as she should.
Agreed for the most part, even though I really enjoyed the first 6 episodes. Everything after that was just a drag. I wasn't thrilled with their portrayal of Fisk, really underwhelming after the "one who should not be named" intimidation bullshit.Finished episode 8 and have to say, after all the glowing responses everywhere, I feel like I'm in crazytown.

I was really disappointed in this.Sure, he did flips here and there before, but it was kept at a minimal and still served a purpose. This was just showing off. Please don't do the same in Season 2.
I feel like they took a 6-ep story and stretched it out to 13 boring episodes. The fight scenes were okay, but nothing came close to what they pulled off in episode 2. They set the bar a bit high early on.

Wilson Fisk is an amazing character imo, and such a good portrayal by D'Onofrio. If you know him from Law & Order, Men in Black and that war movie by kubrick ( cant remember the name ) you know he is a great actor.
He was horrible on Law and Order.
Is that what we supposed to take away?I wont go into why he talks the way he talks ( he's an autistic person on the show )
