Bloodborne |OT+++| ...and so the Nightly Hunt continues

I'd say ideally be a level 120-130 to tackle the harder dungeons. That was my general level and it was still hard as nails at times. Also if you want to get to the final chalice you need the living string and make sure you have the 2 red jellies from the main 'campaign'. The dungeons start off incredibly easy but get far harder as you progress to the lower levels (especially defiled chalice where you have 50% health).

I don't think high lvls make a big difference. What does are having high vit and a upgraded weapon +9 / +10. I finished them on a lvl 75 and lvl 85.

Thanks man, it really opened my eyes to the series and, although it's largely regarded as the lesser entry, I'm now tempted to check out DS2 over the summer.

Overall it definitely is the worst of the 4, but it is still a great game...heard the DLC was really good too, picked up my copy, i only played the base game, but I am not done with bloodborne yet, so it will have to wait. Soul memory was my biggest irritance with DaS 2 by far.

Soul memory is still better than the broken MP of Bloodborne though.

I finally killed the watchdog last night, but I had to call for help. However they died halfway through the fight, so I had to solo the rest. Now I'm stuck on the next boss hihi, fun!

What's the summoning level range for rom in NG? I've wasted so much insight and don't know if it's because my level is too high or the poor matchmaking system they need to patch.

coop is pretty broken.
till now, I wasn't able to summon a single player into my game.
getting summond by others is no problem though.

I swear the real boss in this
Loran Darkbeast
fight is the goddamn camera.

That goddam camera. He was a pain in the ass without the goddamn camera being an issue. I only just did him in yesterday. I wasn't even pleased in the end. I was broken. Hollow. A shell. I hear his AoE scream in my sleep.

Seriously, I haven't had that much trouble with a boss since O&S.
The Watchdog just took patience, BSB and Abhorrent Beast were just straightforward strafe around/sensibly attack routines, but this? THIS WAS MADNESS.

I summoned and got summoned with no issues since launch. Nothing is broken. Even the password system works fine. The only time I lost an insight was when I did while waiting.

This is the best MP of any Souls game, no longer getting invaded unless I have a partner.

I've had zero luck the few times I managed to summon people. Everyone seems to die 10 seconds into the boss fight. One of the guys I summoned for Cainhurst didn't even seem to know the map and ran the opposite direction and died.

So what is the trophy for the chalice dungeons? Can't believe even this is confusing to me. For some crazy reason I thought I'd be working my way up to more difficult dungeons with each tombstone. Nope! Actually just repeated one by accident.

You get a trophy for killing
Yharnam
in
Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice
.

How exactly do they work anyway? The first one I made I got to layer 3, then the heart and that's it. So I made another. Is that how it is? How do you know when you've completed one?

Also what benefit is there to erasing one?

Finally beat the chalice dungeon version of Rom. Kept getting killed by his ice missiles without realizing that you can use the pillars for those. I got him no problem after realizing my stupidity.

When you get to a big round room and there's no way to continue, you are done with that chalice. You have have so many slots to open a chalice. Erasing one free that tomb so you an open another one.

So, I heard that
Yharnam Stone and Ring of Bethroal are finally useless in the game. I would be really disapointed and salty if FS did the same as they did in Dark Souls with the Pendant, but by this time with two items.

Can anyone "confirm" this? (Is it really posible confirm that something has no effect in the game)
Well I feel like the
ring is more of a Easter egg item.

Finally beat the game and got the "True" ending I guess? Anyway amazing game, really really enjoyed it! Can't wait to do the rest of the Chalice Dungeons and NG+ stuff.

I'll seriously get into both Bloodborne and DS2 SoTFS once they're both patched. Love both games even from what little I've played and knowing they're both going to have various issues fixed makes waiting all the more worthwhile.

Just took down The One Reborn. That cut scene is epic!! My hands were shaking. That cut scene made it my favorite boss thus far because of how shook I was. Turned out to be the 2nd easiest boss so far. Took me 2 attempts after he dropped a load of shit on me the first time. Lol

Cheers for the Chalice D tips, all.

Sidenote: it very well could be because I have around 500 hours of Souls experience under my belt, but does anyone else feel that BB facilitates over-levelling the most out of the 4 games?

I made a conscious effort to not partake in any remotely egregious farming (i.e. all my vials came from The Great Bridge wolves and I never once farmed for materials/echoes) on my second run through, but man, even after buying every bit of overpriced garb, I was still 10-15 levels over what the general concensus for the area seemed to be. I mean, they had to be spent somewhere.

That being said, I rarely use echoes to top up my vial/bullet supply and I always prioritise recovering a decent stain, but I still feel as if you're inundated with echoes, especially in the late-game.

Can anyone help me fight this boss? I'm at the
Darkbeast Paarl
after being
kidnapped.

I've tried several times to beat it on my own, but I have no more bloodvials and I'm running short on time.

US East if it matters

I feel it does because of how high enemy damage is. A lot of boss attacks become one-shots if your vitality's not high enough.

Hello fellows Gaffers!!

Have some of you been stuck in a particular part of this game? Or, found some mechanic really damn frustrating?

Right now, the bosses were some kind "easy".
Less Shadow of Yharnam, those three were a pain. Even Rom was easy.

Maybe I've a problem dealing with multiple things happening on the same time, but, damn, dealing with poison and that freaking Brain Trusts with their damn frenzy...
I lost the count of how many times they killed me. I know, White healing church vest for poison and runes, or Gray hunter and runes for frenzy, or mixed... but, hell...
I can't stand it.
But I love when I kill that mtf

Nah, I know how to beat him; I just don't think I'm as strong as I should be. Just want someone else to come help me body him real quick

Good day today: beat
BSB
in the hinter chalice and then kicked
Rom's
butt on my third attempt. The previous two were very close. Tinitrus +6 wrecked her

Still wish I didn't have Henryk glitched. He just disppeared after ganking
Eileen

The
ring
actually does do something though. Not every item has to do something awe inspiring. I like that they put in an item that pretty much just leads to a gag.
