After my initial disappointment, I must say this looks aight. Might watch this.
This seems to be basically:
"What would happen if Michael Bay directed a Jurassic Park movie?"
That exchange was awful. Could've responded with something like, "So are we."
There's still a lot we don't know about shark behavior.
Didn't we have a thread on this Great White "shark whisperer", too?
That would have been worse.
Why are Dinosaurs not interesting and exciting enough?
Given the generic Hollywood toilet humour at the start, the archetype character set and witless dialogue, and the massive yet instantly forgettable set pieces, I'd say the chances of a better description are slim.
As you should be.Damn this movie looks like it'll be fun. I'm more hyped for Jurassic World at this point than I am for Age of Ultron.
somehow I knew making this thread was a mistake, but your comments will not bring me down.
Chances of a dinosaur shitting on one of the trainers in the first 10 minutes? 100%?

Toilet Humor was all over the first film.
I still love the scene with Pratt and the Raptors...he's playing with fire...they can turn at any moment.
That scene will be intense in the theater.
Judging from the trailer they do, there's a scene with one attacking a soldier.
Looks like a videogame.
That first joke by CP in the new trailer is basement level humour fresh from one of Bay's extravaganzas.
At least it's using a variety of words rather than parroting what she said, and adding an adjective. It also doesn't help that prattpratt delivered the line terribly. Like just the structure of that sentence is awkward, when spoken allowed.
Not even close.
That first joke by CP in the new trailer is basement level humour fresh from one of Bay's extravaganzas. The original JP didn't ever feel that cheap.
Why are Dinosaurs not interesting and exciting enough? I just don't get this movie.
I honestly can't believe you're defending that exchange.
The original JP doesn't really have cheap humor. Even ol' dude saying he hates Goldblum is earned.
I'm not saying it's the best thing written on a page but it's not Bay humor either. I know Bay humor and... no, sorry.
The original JP didn't ever feel that cheap.
We just disagree here. It's like they are trying to rehab the raptors Ala T2 (he's the good guy this time!) and it just comes across as corny to me. An obvious plot device to make the raptor "cool" to the viewer.
As an aside, it comes across a little weird that, within this world of JP, they would take on the liability of continuing to breed raptors (after they nearly killed the grandkids of the founder of JP).
I hope they explain how they created a more controllable raptor all while being unable to manipulate the DNA of the man made hybrid Indomimus Rex.
Well the first thing is to be expected since it was in the first film, the second might ruin it though.Okay, fine. That was good enough that I'll be there in theaters.
Worried about 1) super annoying kids and 2) super annoying lady running the place that is dutifully wrong about anything and everything. Looks fun otherwise.
when this movie inevitably makes a lot of money and a sequel is made
what will the hook be
jurassic park will have failed three times (isla nublar, san diego, isla nublar x2)
just rehash one of the sequels? but after the third, wouldn't the military then just wipe the dinos out?
Jurassic World 2: Jurassic Moon!

It's like the internet spawned it in the trailer lol.
