It should be a lot better than last year's by default given current gen development finally being in full motion. I'm not going to leak or tease anything that I haven't already though, because things can change, especially when Sony has a fetish for pushing things back and leaks ruin the surprise.

Last year, Bloodborne would have had a much bigger impact here if Project Beast wasn't leaked beforehand and the same for Street Fighter V at PSX.

Yeh i agree, Bloodborne annoucement would have been huge without the leak.

This is the best I got. really i just want PS2 emulation with trophy support or Dragon's Quest VIII HD, and for Vue to come to me, and that Ratchet and Clank looks amazing.
 
I expect the same thing every year:

- lots of broken dreams and salty tears
- wild reactions including fanboy fodder
- lots of bannings
- neogaf goes 404

Well its 2 months away and EVERYTHING from Microsoft hasnt already leaked so they are doing better then the last 2 years.

Sony's stuff always leaks the week before though. SCEA couldnt keep a secret to save their lives.
 
Maybe I'm too used to Sakurai but I don't believe Nintendo one bit when they say Zelda U will not be at E3, and it's not even because I think they said that to make it a surprise when they do show it since it got delayed. I think they either a) changed/will change their mind sometime between that announcement and E3 and show some footage or a trailer, or b) they flat out lied and there will be a full trailer of Zelda Wii U confirming the title and a 2016 release, much like E3 2010 and Skyward Sword. I would pretty much bet on b.

Mainly because previous conferences... were not that good and the biggest surprises were leaked weeks in advance. ;)

Hopefully this time it will be glorious. I want to invite some friends and watch the streams!

One of the best movies from the 80's, its fun positive and totally watchable today it just a great fun movie.
That could simply not be made today sadly.
 
Really not hyped for this E3 at all. I expect it to be a weak transition year for Nintendo, and we already have a good idea of what the other two consoles are capable of and what software we'll probably see. The games will be great, but they won't be megatons, you know? There won't be anything like that showdown between Sony and Microsoft two years ago with new boxes on the way. That was intense.

I'm hoping for Fallout 4 and some other surprises; but that mid-gen stuff can't excite as a reveal as much as new hardware or the first batch of games for new hardware, even if it ultimately becomes the most fondly remembered content from a generation.

Agreed. I think we are going to see a complete 180 in quality from EA.

I'm expecting full gameplay footage of Battlefront, Mirrors Edge 2, AND Mass Effect. Throw in a new racer, Titanfall 2, and some surprise game announcements alongside the usual sports/Sims stuff, and I'm a happy camper.
 
There's really only one thing I want pre-E3 and that is CBOAT to deliver... But I don't even know if he's still the same person he used to be back before his "leaks" were heading into the BS territory.

whe did he appear the last time. Either I missed something or it has been an eternity. Right now I think we will never see him again.
But I miss him, too. I liked the broken syntax. Nice and creepy.
 
I wouldn't mind a Skyrim re-release on next gen. They don't even have to improve the graphics much and i'd still buy it.

What would be cool though if they raided the modding community, got like 10 of the best modders to agree to letting them put their stuff in the game, like Falskaar and Wrymstooth and Helgen Reborn.

More chance of a new Elder Scrolls being announced than that.

Honestly, I think both Microsoft and Sony are going to have Amazing E3 showings. This year should be filled with new IPs especially for Sony. I really hope we do not see any leaks from either company.


Sony has been really good about hiding what their 1st party studios are really up to. I would like them to blow the doors open on what is going to be coming out for the next eighteen months following E3. I really believe they have the most to show at this years E3 but I would not count anyone out yet.


Nintendo is the wild card. I have no idea what Big N has planned but I cannot wait to see it. Hopefully they don't kill off the 3DS this E3 and let a little more dust set on my New 3DS Xl lol J/K. Unless they announce that they plan on having a big conference I do not see them releasing any sort of new console. As long as its a Nintendo Direct we should see some cool games coming out from them. I would love to see them revamp the Wii U interface and Online infrastructure this year. I just don't think they will waste the resources doing that with this console.

Finally I think Microsoft is going to finally show off the benefits of having Phil Spencer in charge. By this E3 almost everything is under Phil's rein, and we should be able to see his direction of the Xbox brand. As of now we know that Hololens is going to be shown at the Microsoft conference. I kind of wish that was not the case. I really think that device really needs to have its own unique conference than to be thrown in with the Xbox.

After last year i think most interesting announcements for me personally will come from Gamescom. E3 usually has a lot of games i'm not that interested in. Hoping to see some good RPGs other than Fallout.

Would like to see EA do another fight night.

Will be interesting to see if he is keeping his promise to focus on games or if it will be burried under Windows-10-blah and hololens vaporware. Until now, I am not a big fan of him. This E3 puts him to the test if he is more than a sweet talker.

We should get details on this by Nintendo's Fiscal Year Earnings Release for FY 2014 on May 7. Last year Nintendo gave information on their E3 plans on April 29.

Haven't heard any firm details though, but I know some companies have started sending out information on dates of press conferences. Ubisoft will have its press conference on Monday, June 15, 3pm PST, though this is only tentative.

This killed me. Best part is that I can totally see Boyes doing this.

I also think we should not only expect a long demo of Battlefront at Sony's Conference, but Amy Hennig's Star Wars game at Visceral (Visceral? Is that right?) to be announced. Star Wars and PlayStation are officially in bed together.

Those leaks kind of bothered me because people got angry at Sony because they had no surprises.

Well, shit, you don't say, if only leakers could shut up for some days and not try to get 15 minutes of fame.
