So any mention of Spider-man in this? My coworker saw it last night and when I asked if there is any of Spidey he just says "You won't be disappointed"
...damn tease
One thing I don't like about the movie is that how it somehow disregards Tony Stark's development in Iron Man 3. He didn't even have a proper closure in the end.
Clint was really good in this one, I think he became the audience favorite in my show.
Mid credits scene is disappointing. We know Thanos, we know there will be a movie about stones.
they kill off? meh why? gotta kill someone in the movies for drama I guess. oh wellquicksilver
so whos the "new team" at the end? I assume it includeswanda and vision
In regards to Quicksilver, I have to wonder if they saw how good the DoFP Quicksilver was and went "well, fuck it, kill him" as they couldn't match it.
Also ATJ sucks an actor anyway, so no real loss.
match what, DOFP quicksilver was NOTHING like the comic version. I still dont udnerstand what people saw in it

i think they're just showing the fact that he is now away from sitting on his throne and making a move because all of his plans to get the stones have failed. they didn't address this in gotg so might as well show that he is now pissed
Why is the film not allowed to stand on its own merits? Why does it have to copy the comic exactly?
Then why call him Quicksilver in the first place if it is not a proper adaption of the comic character?

I am really interested in Ant-Man now, even more than before. They really end the film on a positive note, even Tony and Steve are pretty much on good terms. Things really have to go to shit in Ant-Man for the world to call for a registration-like act if it didn't happen in this film.
or... y'know, in Civil War...

There's enough seeds for it there with what the Hulk gets up to, and the news reports on it. All it needs some Fox News type at the start of Civil War and it's all set.
You've seen it 0_obut Civil War is shit
I wouldn't count on Civil War being a 1:1 adaption. Age of Ultron had nothing to do with the comic as well.but Civil War is shit

Why are you talking about it in a movie thread though?I was talking about the comic.

I'll spoiler tag my post in case anyone wanders in accidentally. Massive spoilers:
Goddamn at the Vision reveal. He is powered by the mind gem that is revealed to be in Loki's Sceptre the whole time and Thor's Lightning. But seriously when he wakes up, it's handled so beautifully. And when he just lifts up Mjolnir the whole theatre laughed out loud. Can't wait for more Vision in the future.
It is a shame that so much was cut from the film though, or so much was left in. It just rushes through so many plot points. Thor wants to find out what was behind his Vision Wanda gave him. Thor goes to Selvig and then the next scene out of nowhere they are at a vision pool. And there are quite a few moments like that. But for all it's failing it also nails a lot of things

Did they give an explanation to why the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver have powers? Seeing how they aren't mutants in the MCU.

Yes. The movie's first act deals with this.
Not in the movie.
Lol.Oh my.
Oh my.
It is explained why they have powers but not why they specifically have those powers.
Reviews are hitting for this already, crazy.
Not in the movie. Well not explicitly anyway. Wait did I miss something?
