That was a fun episode but I felt like a lot of it was squandered. A shapeshifter villain at the same time we know Thawne "shifted" into Wells' body (in a sense), and the show really didn't address it at all. Maybe they should've done the Reverse-Flash-cave reveal last episode instead to set this up.

I like the show but I hate how pretty much every time Barry gets in trouble it's because he decided to stop using his super speed for absolutely no reason.
I can overlook it most times... it is a bit of an issue when you can't outrun bees or catch up to a person that is walking away though.
I mean if you think to much about it it's going to ruin it, as even in the other stuff I have seen involving the flash his fighting style makes no sense given his power. It should always be about the speed and targeted hits, never stopping to talk or to take a hit. I mean logically barry should just run around with a pocket full of tranqs or a stun gun and quickly neutralize a target, it would make far more sense then him punching stuff at high speeds. (of course with some targets this wouldn't work, but sonic devices would also make a lot of sense. Quickly strap it near their ears an cause them to fall over in pain.)
But alas, while it would likely be funny to watch him run around and put every enemy to sleep, it wouldn't be amusing for long.
I overlook most logic leaps for Arrow/Flash and it has never really bothered me but this last one had by far the most plain dumb moments that I can remember. It took me out of the episode most of the time. The main story progression is always good though, so I can live through the villain of the week stuff.
Good episode. Villain of the week was pretty fun, I want more evil Barry. Though that ending for Hannibal Bates was pretty sad. Things are starting to nicely fall apart for Wells. About time they found his lair. Tsk tsk Wells your security for it was a bit lacking though ha. Next weeks episode looks great.

The best moment on both Flash and Arrow. I fucking love cisco.
When Cisco was first introduced to us on Arrow before The Flash had even aired I didn't like him but since then he's been fantastic. He can do the serious scenes well like the encounter with Wells but he's also great at the comic relief side of things.

We will never get a true full Batman series, there is just too much more money in the movies.
WB will use audience confusion as a reason but really its just the fact that especially for Batman there would be no reason for audiences to pay and see a movie outside of the BvsS and JL.
Even with Arrow's S3 downfall it shows almost every aspect of a Batman universe could be done well on tv.
Not to mention fans would have 20+ hours of live action Batman a year, compared to a 2 hour movie every couple.
Also with all those extra hours you can do villains, sidekicks, etc justice.

Considering how things went with Roy Harper on Arrow, I hope they don't bring in Wally West. He's just going to get sidelined while the established core team shines.
Also, we already have bad enough issues with holding back Barry's powers so that his enemies can seem like they have a chance at beating him. Bringing in Wally and making those guys deal with two speedsters at once, I predict, will make for some ridiculous ass pulling on the villains' part.
