This game seems to have both more armor and more characters (plus customizable avatars) so that might not be practical any more. But it matters because you said it was naive to think they weren't deliberately appealing to pedophiles, when the fact that armor can be used by anyone means that no special effort went into pandering to them.
What? Why couldn't they just raise her age?

1. Kinda repetitive even if they've different goals from what I saw.
2. Open fields areas are separated from the city. Otherwise is open world.

5. About online :
1) Recruit system
When you're connected to the internet you can meet other players characters online and recruit them (like in Phantasy Star online 2) AND they will gain EXP while fighting with you. It doesn't seem limited to the friendlist.
2) Guild system (SQUAD)
Guild can have 32 members max.
- guild chat
- guild quests (solo or multi up to 4)
- guild BIG quests (solo or multi up to 4)
The Big quests will be unlocked depending of your guild progression, meaning more you complete guild quests more chance you will unlock those big quests.
3) Reputations (UNIONS)
They're 8 available factions in the game and each of them will have their proper type of quests. Previous videos showed that those factions can give you some rewards.
4) Leader Borad (Ranking system)
There will be a leader board for a lot of thing but no rewards was promised for figuring on any of them.

That is a lot of skin, but it just didn't occur to me to view it in a sexual manner. I'm not a big fan of the whole 13 year olds saving the world and being better/equal to a group of fully trained and experienced adults so she wasn't going to make it into my party long term anyway though.
Are we going to keep beating this dead horse till the thread gets closed and talking about the game is banned? I really don't see NoA not changing it even if people didn't take offense to it either.
I might be misremembering a different game but didn't they also raise the age of the girls in Senran Kagura when it was localized?

Not really known as a whole. There are different types of quests, though. Story related, "Kizuna" quests, that will build the relationsships between characters (so a different kind of story quest), and normal quests you can access at the Frontier Net terminal. The last are normally your usual generic fetch and battle quests.

I imagine that Tatsu isn't a playable party member because it seems like with more emphasis being on the create-a-cross and the massive recruitment system, the idea is centered more around equipping and customizing the party however you want to, rather than in Xenoblade where each party member had distinct weapons, arts, and roles. They probably couldn't fit a nopon in with the way the universal equipment and skill systems work out.
Incidentally if the game were to tank in the West sales-wise, I'm pretty sure that the message Nintendo would take away from it is not "I guess Westerners don't like our armor design choices."

There are apparently a very large number of outfits in the game, those outfits are apparently wearable by ALL females, and the only way you'll see Lyn in it is if you specifically want to see Lyn in it.

It's your usual RPG town: you can go shopping, talk to people, receive request, customize your clothes, weapons and mechs, etc. But I feel a big part of the story is to make you build a bond to your home town and the people living there.

The problem is that they are giving you the choice to dress up children like that. But lol at your righteously indignant reply.
A part of it also is Tatsu won't work with the usual mechanics of the game. He can have melee weapons, but how about the guns? And Doll/Skell piloting won't work on him either, unless he goes Chu-chu, which would be somehow stupid lol.
They confirmed there're other villages, aliens villages but they didn't mention other colonies though.

It would be fucking hilarious if he goes Chu-Chu, just to still not be a combat character. Just grows super big to follow you while you are in Dolls.

You can dress up anyone like basically anything. You're not forced to do anything, and they did not go out of their way at all to sexualize her specifically. Armor is wearable by everyone, including created characters and a large number of recruitable characters. Do you really want them to just not allow you to use that armor only for that one character? Why not just... not equip it on her?

Yeah, that's also part of what I was getting at (the weaponry, though the Doll/Skell control is a good point too), he doesn't fit into the modular nature of the rest of the controllable cast.
Plus, just imagine seeing him pulling off the sprint-jumps like the human characters.
So he can fight with your party, you just won't get the option to directly control him?

I get why Tatsu won't make sense, but IT HURTSSS, Riki is my favorite character from Xenoblade.
Every female character can wear that outfit, I'd understand the outrage if it was designed for Lyn, but it's not. When you get the game, just use anything else, it won't be difficult.
Knowing Xenoblade, there are going to be some neat armors sets, I can't wait.

Whenever in battle, he goes MIA I think, so he isn't even providing battle support either.
No. He follows you around, and is the one that lets you use the nav ball, but he doesn't fight at all.

I thought Tots was the quest tracker? The red ball that flys out to your quest objective, think they said that in the English showcase.
Most of the streamers seems to take their time by doing at lot of side quests
So we didn't even saw a new continent, yet xD
He's basically a field support just as you said. But he won't be providing assistance in battle (or if there is in later part of the game, we haven't seen it yet.)

That's what he is. He is a non combat party member. Travels with you and does extra stuff, just no making fite.

People not having a problem with Lyn's outfit aren't automatically pedophiles. Some of you jump to conclusions and generalize way too easily.
It's indeed awkward that outfits that were probably designed for a mature avatar also scale to fit Lyn, as well as showcase her body in ways that aren't appropriate for a 13 year old girl. However it's all the choice of the player and these lewd outfits are amongst a wide selection of other outfits that don't show skin. You as a player have the choice of how you want to present Lyn, her character and strong persona stands separate from her look and I appreciate that. Should her outfits get censored or her age raised? I wouldn't mind, but I also won't put her in those outfits if I get the game so it doesn't even bother me. That's how I feel about it.

Elder scrolls? Seriously? The granddaddy of do the same exact quest millions of times, but with a different text explanations?
Not that I didnt still enjoy it, Im still playing my original dagger fall file on my droid.
But come on, lets not pretend that 90% of other rpg's side quests dont boil down to get this item, or go here and kill this enemy.
