To me, par for par, it's the best one.So how does it stack up against the other Xenoblades?![]()
Fucking hell... This was the only upgrade I wanted. There was NO Switch 2 Edition upgrade announced in case anyone was wondering.
Yeah. I was surprised they didn't mention anything Monolith Soft. Too bad. That would've made me preorder had they announced a new game. Guess I'll hold off. There was NO Switch 2 Edition upgrade announced in case anyone was wondering.

Week 3 of NSO icons , one more week to go
What about tracks like Primordia(day), Theme X and the title screen?Hot take: I realize many won't agree but this game's OST would be in my Top 10 of all time if it didn't have the Engrish. When I played this game years ago I wasn't very knowledgeable about music production and I was just getting into to it but coming back to it with fresh ears it's so highly competent composition and production wise it's really a shame they couldn't have just done the songs in Japanese or with a lead instrument. It's like having a beautifully cooked main dish and then covering it in poo. The music is still amazing but with the acceptation of the Noctalim song I mentioned before, I find it really distracting especially during the emotion scenes (not to mention how the voices clash with the dialogue sometimes). It's still a really good OST. I just wish they would have self-edited a little more on this front. My favorite track is actually the alien ship since it has no vocals. It's a really cool rhythmic track that starts out quirky and silly but then builds up and actually gets a bit inspirational on the changeup. I also like the melody of the crystal area (name escapes me now) which has a typical, but beautiful melody.
I haven't played 3, all things considered. So how does it stack up against the other Xenoblades?![]()

This exactly why in my opinion this has the BEST open world in any RPG.I got my Skell recently and really like how it makes you feel both overpowered and underpowered at the same time. Suddenly those level 55 enemies floating around that didn't notice me as a tiny human, I have to be worried about. Great game design. Still just having a blast bombing around the world and doing quests and expanding my survey rate. So much to explore and discover!
IIRC, the Wir Fliegen also have broken German. This is just Sawano usual stuff.Hot take: I realize many won't agree but this game's OST would be in my Top 10 of all time if it didn't have the Engrish. It's absolutely coming. Don't forget, a 60fps mode was already found in the code and Nintendo has already announced several Switch 1 games will be getting FREE Switch 2 upgrades. Oh, it's definitely coming. There was NO Switch 2 Edition upgrade announced in case anyone was wondering.
I'm considering holding off on finishing this game until I get Switch 2.
The idea of playing this in 4k 60 HDR is just too good to pass up...

Yeah. It's annoying, but there are more annoying games in this regard. I hate how they stop the music and everything for you to choose responses randomly. That feels so awkward and immersion breaking.Few hours in. The most immediate observations:
Seriously. Dialog choice? Dialog box.
- OST bangs
- Dialog boxes, the game?
Press A on door? Dialog box.
Save the game? Dialog box.
Oh, you want the leave the save screen? Dialog box.
Battle finishes? Dialog box loot screen.
Finished a quest? Dialog box.
This game is SO heavy on its UI like jfc

I saw some theory that Hraesvelg is a prototype for the next Xenoblade/Monolith Soft game, in which you can fly like a plane.I'm barely progressing the story. and loving every minute of it.
The new Hraesvelg Skell is not all that crack up to be, the design itself is not bad but the fact you can't change its armor piece and weapons is huge deal breaker.
Also dont like the fact it doesn't have have car mode, the reason I like Skell's car mode because it reminds me of LFOs in Eureka Seven.
I'm 40 hrs in and am at the Skell license part. Im torn because I REALLY want to play and get the Skell but I'm holding out hope they will soon announce a Switch 2 update patch so that I get to experience it in the very best way possible...ugh, this sucks.I'm barely progressing the story. and loving every minute of it.

Does anyone know if there's a faster way to get silver coins? I've been playing games on my Switch but it never adds any silver coins to my Nintendo Account
Trying to get all of those NSO Icons before they expire
So BUY IT!There was NO Switch 2 Edition upgrade announced in case anyone was wondering.
I hope this game reaches 1 million copies at least, so all Xenoblade games are million sellers on Switch.I'm really liking how the side quests are done here, not only brings you to different part of the map but also has impact impact on actual NLA city.
Different race aliens come to live in NLA because of the side quests.
I hope to see game do better sales wise, this game absolulty deserves it.

translated by A.IYou can change the camera distance by holding down the L button and moving the R stick up or down. Use it to play at a comfortable viewing distance or when taking screenshots!
That would make us super overleveled. I personally not doing side quests for EXP, I'm doing it for the side stories which bring different alien race to your city and also you need to do some side quests to unlock affinity quests.Another nitpick I have is that sidequests should be giving way more EXP at this point, the EXP rewards is hardly worth it anymore. Like at the start they were worth 100-150 EXP and it was great, but now they're worth like 250-300 and I'm getting more than that in fighting a single giant bug on the way to the objective.
Yeah the EXP for sidequests seems really pathetic, I'm not sure why they designed it that way.Another nitpick I have is that sidequests should be giving way more EXP at this point, the EXP rewards is hardly worth it anymore. Because side quests are designed that will make you explore more part of Mira and when bring different races to the city you will unlock their tech for your gears.Yeah the EXP for sidequests seems really pathetic, I'm not sure why they designed it that way.
Oh well I mainly do quests to build up affinity with my party members anyway.

I feel like I'm already way overly overleveld for story quests by doing side quests......I dont think I need more EXP.
I have been completely ignoring online mission since I dont have Nintendo online subscription and have no attention of getting one.I've been doing the Online Missions at the moment since I want to get all of the Bunnysuit costumes even the Reverse Bunnysuit. My characters are at Level 55 and I'm eventually gonna to grind them to Level 99. I love doing Sidequests and Affinity Missions especially for the stories and yes they don't give out as much experience but they do give out other rewards that are useful
I ALWAYS save right before an affinity mission and never manually save again until I finish it or If I do I, use a 2ndary save file. That way I'm never ever "stuck" on an Affinity mission. Not being able to abandon affinity missions is such bullshit, and after 90 hours with this game I'm about to give up and not finish it.
The one I'm on now requires me to go into a lava cavern to fight a big monster. I'm 25 levels higher than it is, but once I start the battle my stupid AI companions go full Leeroy Jenkins and dive straight into the lava and die. Spent the last three hours trying various methods (like exiting the cave and getting in my skell, but the battle ends before I can) and it's making me want to throw my Switch across the room - which is my usual sign that I'm done playing a particular game.
Good tip on the save thing. Unfortunately, I'm a habitual manual-saver, so I'm screwed there. I did look at where they were sending me and the recommended level (I'm almost 20 levels higher than recommended) it's just a combination of stupid lava platforming and the AI teammates trying to move around the battlefield to get a better shot at the baddy (and subsequently drowning themselves in lava).I ALWAYS save right before an affinity mission and never manually save again until I finish it or If I do I, use a 2ndary save file. Also it helps to look at the mission details and check where it's sending you
Damn I see....hmm. Try to min/max your equipment (every stat in your favor might help). And if all else fails level up about 10 levels.Good tip on the save thing. So, now my options are either to level up enough so that I can take on the enemy solo (enemy is level 46, I'm level 63 and still died every time) or just give up on being able to finish the game.

New mission objective achieved. Didn't realize the XX mod was -100%, that's amazing. Cheers!I did some searching for you since I'm nice, looks like your best option is this:

Terrain Damage Reducer
Terrain Damage Reducer is an armor Augment in Xenoblade Chronicles X that reduces the damage from hazardous terrain, such as the toxic waters of Vitriol Cesspool. Terrain Damage Reducers can be created at the AM Terminal in the Administrative District.xenoblade.fandom.com
It's an Armor Augment, the XX version makes the character completely resistant to all terrain damage so they can walk in lava without getting hurt. Might take a little effort to get all the components and such but better than dropping a game after 100 hours I think.
