Neither Clooney nor Kilmer had the edge to them that made them feel like they could be a psycho who dresses up in a rubber suit and beats the shit out of people. The character of Bruce Wayne needs to appear aloof and harmless to those around him in universe, but unhinged enough to be believable as Batman to the audience. Those two didn't have that at all. Keaton had it the best, although he seemed a bit too unhinged in universe, perhaps. Bale felt more like a calm sociopath, which is also accurate for Batman.

What if Batman vs Superman is actually a sequel to The Dark Knight Rises and Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne is actually Christian Bale a decade later and this movie finally answers the age-old question of "How Can Officer Blake Become Batman With No Training".
The answer is, he didn't.
Joker's final prophecy came to pass. The city went crazy. They did battle forever. Joker went crazier and crazier. After Bruce bummed around Italy and banged Selina for a year, he came back, cause Batman finally consumed him.
"Redeemed Red Hood with Friends" is a shit character.

Red Hood isn't what sold me on RH&O, it was the dynamic between Jason and Roy Harper that was great. And that's what I want to see. It could be DCs buddy-hero movie. With lots of over the top action and violence. Basically Lethal Weapon with super heroes.

Unlike everyone in that picture, Affleck looks like Batman. Like he stepped out of the comic and onto the screen. I liked Keaton, and Bale but Affeck is the first time someone has nailed the actual look. Now about the acting.....we'll see.

I prefer the Batman is the real deal, Bruce is a disguise. But at the same time I want Batman to have a happy ending, didn't like the shit that went down in timmverse. Really like how they handled Bruce settling down with Selina in Brave and the Bold.

Suicide Squad seems exciting. Batman being in it also seems exciting. I'm excited.
He probably had to order 10,000 of them to avoid suspicion so he'd have some spares.
But the actor playing Batman can actually do stuff besides standing and looking pretty.

God, I was really hoping this wasn't gonna be a Batman film. I like the concept of a group of villains doing their own thing. That's kinda killed some hype I had for it.
