I own the first two witchers. I've played them both.
I just realised that I had misread your previous post, my apologies for failing at reading comprehension.

It still looks bad. The menu system and combat system looks Damn similar. The HUD looks similar. The map looks similar. None of these elements are things I think are strengths.Haha no it doesn't. Combat looks way better and from what has been told by people who played it, improved over TW2. It's alright to have opinions, but to throw them over like they are facts? Yeah, no.
Those xbone achievement pop-ins are disgusting, glad I don't have to suffer that.
Although I assume they are disableable ?
Game looks great though. Love the combat, ever so closer to the books.
1. Yes you can disable/customize any notification.
2. Why "disgusting"? the trophy popups on my PS4 aren't really different....
Those violins? Its witcher 2 all over again, hated wondering through the forest because the music was too morbid. Im not expecting JRPG cutesy music, more like Fable or even DA:I. Hope i dont regret preloading this :/

Hey blim, just wanna say a BIG thank you for the amazing work that is gamersyde. It's the only way to really see what we will get in terms of graphics for all games today without shitty compression. Keep it up man, you are a hero (at least for me)
Well, considering cresto was responding to the guy who's opening contribution was this:
I think, perhaps, that you can see why it being related to the Xbox matters.

watNice job, troll. Considering your avatar, I'm shocked you'd say that. From what I've seen, bloodbornes combat isn't all that great either.
If the difference between 1080P and 900P Is as noticeable as some make it our to be here then wouldn't this effect be super jarring?
Players are partly to blame for that. I've seen videos of The Witcher 3 combat on gamersyde that looked great when played by developpers that knew what they were doing. Most of the players in recent videos most likely didn't have the chance to play a whole lot of the game, and mostly just step dodge in all directions as a semblance of footwork. Sort of like in Bloodborne when players always step-in, back step or side steps continuously whenever they have ennemies in front of them, it can look tedious and bad.It still looks bad. The menu system and combat system looks Damn similar. The HUD looks similar. The map looks similar. None of these elements are things I think are strengths.
The graphics look great and I'm sure the game will have a good story and review really well since it is going to be a very long game with lots of side quests, but it doesn't look to me like they have fixed the things I have had a problem with.

Can I just lock it to 900p? Haha. I've never seen this dynamic resolution before but it doesn't sound too hot.

Go play bloodborne.
There are things wrong with "souls" games, but the combat certainly isn't one of them. You chose the worst element of those games to have an issue with, particularly since you haven't played it.
I own the witcher 1 and 2 and completely agree that the combat in each game is bad. It doesn't make me a troll at all. The combat in this trailer looks exactly the same as the previous two games.
Tree pop in and out is pretty bad, seems an auto jump happens as well. Very immersive breaking.

The trees are removed far too early.
I think the gameplay looks like a huge improvement. Some amazing looking swordplay going on:

good that you can disable it. I just find it ugly and immersion breaking. Steam has it much better in my opinion. But I have them disabled there too, usually.

The trees are removed far too early. I don't like it when just walking but in combat with the early removal they disappear and reappear all the time when they should just remain
Seriously. Honestly puzzled at the "combat looks bad" comments.

That might not be items popping in, it could be culling those items to make the view of combat cleaner. Instead of making things go transparent etc so you can see your character through them. Some games might just make them disappear during combat.
I could be wrong though!
Looks fantastic. Perhaps the faith so many wasn't misplaced after all.
I expect this user to be either inane or a child.
Seriously. Honestly puzzled at the "combat looks bad" comments.

I don't have an Xbox One and I have no idea what Dynamic scaling is, but thats interesting that they were able to deliver some improvement over their original claim of 900p. Combat also looks great to me, definite step up from Witcher 2.
