Ravens and Colts are the worst sports organizations. Cant beat the Pats.. so have to go whine about it. Thought this was a game for men.. not babies!

Men who kick at knees.

Classy dude.

Wasn't nearly enough punishment. I, for one, applaud the efforts of those defenders of truth, the Ravens and Colts, who exposed both unfair formation tactics (now illegal) and ball manipulation.

In the AFCCG, he did much better in the second half with footballs in the legal range than he did in the first half with football below the legal range.
Again, this doesn't prove anything. So you're saying he cheated, possibly multiple times but in doing so made himself play worse? This is the same exact line of thinking Pats fans tried to use last time they got caught cheating. If they really did do worse while cheating, then they are a really dumb fucking team. For all you know, Brady sucks shit at playing at home, and would have done even worse if he didn't have under inflated balls. Again, this isn't something you can prove either way, because it requires going back in time and replaying those games with balls that had properly regulated amounts of air.

The future face of the NFL step aside Rodgers and Luck.
Really wished we drafted Russell Wilson instead :(

To be fair, Russell was handed a team that was already defensively strong and had a great running game. A lot of teams probably wish they picked Russell though as he was picked in the third round.

Not really, but the Pats are the only organization to be caught, repeatedly. Either they are cheating more or they are much worse at concealing it than the other 31 teams. Which is likelier?

I honestly forgot.. How much did your coach get for tripping that player during a live game?

Yea but Rice used sticky stuff to catch his balls.

I think we all know what to do.

***********************************

Rice never got caught DURING THE SEASON.

Joe > Tom and it isn't even close anymore. Tom is a known cheater who will be suspended 4 games, should have been more.

Statement from Tom Brady's agent, Don Yee:

“The discipline is ridiculous and has no legitimate basis. In my opinion, this outcome was pre-determined; there was no fairness in the Wells investigation whatsoever. There is no evidence that Tom directed footballs be set at pressures below the allowable limits. In fact, the evidence shows Tom clearly emphasized that footballs be set at pressures within the rules. Tom also cooperated with the investigation and answered every question presented to him. The Wells Report presents significant evidence, however, that the NFL lacks standards or protocols with respect to its handling of footballs prior to games; this is not the fault of Tom or the Patriots. The report also presents significant evidence the NFL participated with the Colts in some type of pre-AFC Championship Game planning regarding the footballs. This fact may raise serious questions about the integrity of the games we view on Sundays. We will appeal, and if the hearing officer is completely independent and neutral, I am very confident the Wells Report will be exposed as an incredibly frail exercise in fact-finding and logic. The NFL has a well-documented history of making poor disciplinary decisions that often are overturned when truly independent and neutral judges or arbitrators preside, and a former federal judge has found the commissioner has abused his discretion in the past, so this outcome does not surprise me. Sadly, today’s decision diminishes the NFL as it tells its fans, players and coaches that the games on the field don’t count as much as the games played on Park Avenue.”

Oh man, is this real life? Seems to me like Brady is gunning for his ban to be increased to 8 games on appeal. LOL

Well, I guess that puts the nail in the coffin of Peyton vs. Brady.

Peyton is the best of his generation. Before this incident they both had 1 legitimate championship and one could make an argument for Brady. Now Peyton leads in championships and has better overall individual stats. Glad to see that baby get put to bed.

You're just a salty Pats hater! You all are!

He should have been suspended for that.

Well, the Seahawks have just had a bevy of PED suspensions, no? The Patriots are hardly the only team caught cheating.

There's not really a fan who can cast the first stone. I know the Niners circumvented cap rules and used stick-um during some of their championships, and have no idea what they were doing without anyone knowing. That doesn't diminish their accomplishments in my eyes, though.

yeah manning is the best until it actually matters

Why does it matter when the truth comes out.

You know what you sound like?

A Pats fan.

Who cares? Rice was a WR. We are talking QB's here. You know it and every Pats fan knows it. Tom's legacy is going down the toilet with all these scandals he's involved in. This one just adds a huge piece of shit to the load

PED suspensions are player violations, not team violations.

Besides, the Pats have had PED suspensions too so that doesn't really hold water.

Or are we forgetting abour Roidney Harrison?

Wait, do you really think Brady's legacy is in the toilet because of a slightly deflated football? I, um, disagree. Strongly.

Are they a player violations? Do you really believe no one in organizations realizes when players are using PEDs?

And I said every team cheats. Why bring up the Patriots again? They are one of the "every team"

The most impressive accomplishment about Manning is how he plays the game the right way, he knows he can't throw deep like he used too, but did he lower the air pressure to compensate for that nerve damage. No. Manning is all about the integrity of the game, Brady is all about lying and cheating.

Man, you even have the mental gymnastics of a Pats fan!

I've been told cheating is cheating, doesn't matter who or why.

For now on those three Superbowls are tainted from Rice's sticky stick'um.

Cheaters never prosper.

He may have felt it improved his game, but his statistics don't reflect that, regardless his punishment is more for the lack of cooperation than the infraction itself.

The New England Lance Armstrong Patriots Fanbase, ladies and gentlemen.

He didn't do it, but even if he did everyone else is doing it, but he didn't do it. Oh he did do it? Well see my earlier tautology and now we're going to talk about other players and teams even though it's a Pats cheating thread.

Go Seahawks.
