I wonder if they will actually do a beta for Uncharted 4, they didn't for The Last of Us they only released a single player demo. So I wonder if we'll just get what we saw at PSX for the gameplay demo. I'd rather an MP beta but yeah.

and I hope they allow you to go straight to Crushing right away.

What does everyone think about RE7 being announced?

RE4 --> RE5 was 4 years
RE5 --> RE6 was 4 years
RE6 --> RE7 if 4 years would mean a release in 2016 so a possible reveal in E3 2015

I'm going to get some shit for saying this but i hope RE7 is going to go the RE5 & 6 way, action Resi with Coop. Loved playing those games with friends.

MP's design for TLOU wasn't even finalised until very late stages of development.

Unlike TLOU though, there's a clear established template for UCMP.

God of War is coming in July.

Oh and I'm wondering also, Last of Us R and God of War R are both $40, do you really think Sony is going to do a $60 Uncharted Collection ?

God of War Saga is $40 or something. Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus collections had RRP of $40.

$60 is still the "ceiling" that no publisher dares to break on the console space for retail games at the base level.

Even if Sony wishes they could charge more, I highly doubt they'll do it. They'll just swallow the lesser ROI.

I wonder if we'll see Kojima on the Sony stage this year?

Phantom Pain will obviously be on the Sony stage this year, but given the recent controversies around his 'departure' from Konami..

There is a bigger chance that Sony will just play a new trailer with nobody from Konami on the stage.

The big expense in getting The Last of Us Remastered out there was porting the engine to the PS4 I'd imagine. Now that the engine is on there, I'm guessing that it's far easier and less time consuming to get a game running on the same engine to the PS4. With that in mind, I don't think that it's not out of the ordinary to believe that The Uncharted Collection will release this fall/winter for $60.

Also, keep in mind that this isn't just for an item that stands by itself. It's promotional material to get people excited for Uncharted 4 - lots of people have moved to different platforms and haven't played the series. The collection will get quite a bit more on the hype train.

As for Kojima, I'm sure he's going to need to tread waters carefully - surely there's a big legal cloud that's roaming over him and Kojipro. If someone introduces him on stage, I would guess it wouldn't be related to Metal Gear or and Konami product. It would be a steal if Sony or Microsoft hired him and gave him a studio, which is the kind of announcement I'm not quite expecting, but wouldn't be surprised by.

Tearaway Unfolded: August
No Mans Sky: September
Until Dawn: October
Uncharted Collection: November.

Until Dawn is June isn't it? It didn't get delayed or haven't seen that news release.

People keep forgetting about Rime and The Tomorrow Children for some reason. Seriously, if you want games to look forward to, look forward to those.

No Mans Sky? November at the earliest. No way it comes out in September. Unless they plan on hurrying release and then just adding tons of content post release. But no, Sony is going to market No Mans Sky as the next big thing, as they should, and it will be a big time Black Friday type release expecting to possibly sell millions of copies. That seems to be where the wind is blowing with that game. I just hope Hello Games can pull it off. Seriously. If could be one of the greats.

Until Dawn doesn't have a release date and October seems smart for Halloween and all.

It's not a physical release so obviously it doesn't count

Yeah, if there's an MGSV trailer, it'll just be played with no mention of dev or publisher.

Kojima joining Sony 1st Party Studios (which won't happen) would be worth closing the show on, I don't mean the complete end but maybe right before a Horizon/Uncharted trailer.

I'm starting to worry like every E3 about the possbility of NOT having the Uuncharted collection. What are the chances they don't do the Uncharted collection before U4? I need Nathan Drake in my blood goddammit

Is Rime confirmed as 2015?

Gran Turismo VR announced for Project Morpheus' launch season.

I don't expect much more regarding VR from Sony, but that's got to happen.

hell i thought it was one of those games that the dude at Gamescom said would be " coming within 6 months " of the showcase. Could be wrong though. Never had any reason not to think it would be beyond 2015. I mean it was shown back in 2013 originally wasn't it?

No, that was Bloodborne, along with LBP3, etc. It was the first time a 'release window' was given for Bloodborne.

Would it be possible for Rime to get a kinda lengthy trailer at E3 and still make it for a Holiday 2015 release? The game looks awesome and it would help Sony's holiday line-up.

I'm also curious about Bandai Namco Ent.'s unnanounced AAA title
SCVI PLS

Outside of the video that was around the other day Tequila Works have been fairly quiet. It's very possible it's a holiday game and that they and Sony don't want to show a lot of the game off until they are closer to release. As a few have said, it looks to be that it's tentatively 2015 still, but not a ton has been said beyond that. So E3 will definitely be the time to know for certain. Since Sony is skipping Gamescom this year, it's either E3 or the Paris event where we'll see where things are. If it's Paris, then it's next year, unfortunately.

I think Sony's announced published games is all Sony's needs for a great show. Really, they have some very high quality looking software coming across a variety of genres. I don't pay much attention to MS news, but only Nintendo seems to rival them in genres whereas every time I check out MS it's one of there main pillars of Halo/Gears/Forza or 3rd party showcases, Ori and Sunset being the only standout titles I would be interesting in. For me, I'm kinda over the hype. I've already spent $500 on a PS4 console and accessories/software. I just want the games now, that I can actually play or at least see a true gameplay vision of. I mean, realistically, I'm still playing BloodBorne almost 2 months after it's debut. I don't need AAA release after AAA release like so many of the forum goers plead for. BloodBorne, TR:R, OliOli, Sound Shapes, Drive Club, TW3, and USF4 will last me through the summer. I honestly just want the stuff announced to turn out well. So for me, Sony has already "won" E3 unless MS or Nintendo gets another Minecraft level exclusive that actually caters to me. So, like 5% chance that happening.

Potentially Amazing games
Rime
No Man's Sky
The Last Guardian
Gravity Rush 2/Remake
Uncharted 4
Ratchet and Clank
Persona 5
Tearaway Unfolded

Potentially Amazing games with very high replay value

No Man's Sky
Street Fighter 5
Tekken 7
Dissidia PS4
The Witness

And this is just games associated with PS. MGS5, Batman:AA, Batlefront, and Tomb Raider are all must-plays for me eventually, with MGS the only one I'll probably need to day one this year. And then we have studios that are just silent for years like Sony Bend, Polyphony digital, Santa Monica, Media Molecule, and Japan Studio. Smaller games we know nothing about but devs have great track records. Third parties I will most assuredly get on PS like FF/KH/DQ/Yakuza/Shonen Games/Tales/Star Ocean/RE/DMC.

I dunno, just seems like it's Sony's ball to drop really. Just show the stuff that looks good, and have a few wow moments to open, mid-way, and end.

RIME looks awesome, but we heard very little since last Gamescom. Also, it doesn't appear on this PS Blog list of upcoming games for 2015. List was made in Feb

Phantom Pain will obviously be on the Sony stage this year, but given the recent controversies around his 'departure' from Konami..

The Kojima situation is tricky. Maybe he'll appear on stage to promote the game, but I doubt Konami will let him do press interviews and what not at the expo. Everyone is going to ask him about the whole fallout between him and Konami.

Kojima's stuck at Konami until December, so I doubt he'll announce his future plans until then. PSX might be a possiblity, if they have everything sorted by then, but I doubt it.

As for RE7, looking at Capcoms financial situation, one of the console manufacturers probably helped with production. Could mean another console exclusive unfortunately

It could be possible in wrong though, but they needed help with SFV so...

That would be such a coup for Sony.

Given his long affiliation with Playstation, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up there.

I'd definitely give him his own studio as part of the deal if I was in charge.

I'd give him a studio called Nothing but Cyberpunk, lock him in a cage for a year until he agreed to make a Snatcher spiritual successor.

Kickstart the intro dollars, see the demand dollar amount wise and then kick it up about 10-20x.

Actually, looking at Capcoms financial situation, it seems they're gonna stick with remastering RE games (and older games) for a while :/. I don't expect RE7 anytime soon.

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Shadow of the Beast, not to mention TTC. Can't believe that people don't classify these games as great holiday games.

Persona 5: December

Not in US , localisation takes a while so I'd expect Persona 5 Spring 2016

So Sony's Spring Line up

Uncharted 4
Persona 5

Seems like a good lineup for the spring.

Not to mention developers don't tend to release games in December, it's like the phantom zone of gaming.

It is funny how often TTC gets left off of " lists ".

I mean it is a beautiful 3D game, incredibly addictive and fun sandbox with a unique premise behind it. It will hopefully grow its fanbase as it closes in on release. Considering the game is a massive online game with 100 people together in the same town, the population needs to be large for there to be a large amount of full towns all competing against one another.

I guess it is one of those games that needs to be played to fully understand just how addictive and involved it is ... but ... yeh, I just hope the best for it.

I have a feeling we'll see more of MGO than TPP at E3.

A new Metal Gear Online trailer with no Kojima on stage.

I meant SotB.
So it's also coming in 2015? I stand corrected then.

To be fair, it's among the 3 games where devs are quoted saying that they're aiming for 2015, yet the marketing seems sketchy to double-down on them.

Alienation, SotB & Rime. I could easily see any or all of them pushed to 2016 if need be. It feels like even if they make 2015, they'll barely make November.

That would be quite epic. However, at this point, all I want is him, Del Toro, and Reedus reuniting to make their (not)Silent Hills.
