Do abilities from gear stack of you have 2 of the same buff? Eg. If two of my clothes give me reduced respawn time, will I have doubly reduced respawn time when wearing both? Thanks!

Yes they stack but you get diminishing returns.

There are light blue, yellow, purple, pink, green, orange and blue.

See if you accidentally checked Color Lock in the options.

In the options there is a colour lock, maybe you accidentally turned that on. It should switch colours every match.

Got a rather interesting item to show up in the hat store today, Fake Contacts. essentially an invisible hat

I'm rocking those right now. Basically extends my super attack time while reducing the charge needed to use it. They're sick.
