I really hope one of these JRPGs rumored to be in the works goes far and beyond anything Square dose. Sure Persona 5 and Xenoblade X will in thier own little ways but I've been dying to see a new JRPG IP that would out shines Final fantasy in every way.

It makes sense to release it around November/October. A small boost in sales on top of the holiday quarter. But I agree. The announcement will come after E3 in its own direct.

I'd also like to agree with you.

Until FF7 happens, everything is a guess. It has to release. It can't just be announced, but people need to have it in their hands. Only then can we look at this otherwise. I mean, it's going to be a hell of a lot of years, but The Rock told me something a long time ago. Not me personally, but the millions and millions. He said no one cares about Act 1, or Act 2. Everyone only cares about Act 3. It's not about how you start, but how you finish. That's why, in line with classic storytelling conventions, we must accept that everything was luck based until that game comes along.

I've never spoiled anything. Seriously. I genuinely don't remember ever doing that, because it makes no sense to me to ruin events. Stuff I say is just random crap that gets unveiled one day. We're due a few of those this year though. We've got to close the chapter on some of the 2013 stuff after all. Delayathon can't hold me back forever.

I'm pretty frank when it comes to these events. Look at PSX. I had my bet, but I told people so many times to stop focusing so much on the presentation, and to think of it as a convention for fans first and foremost, but no one listened. Everyone went crazy. (It was pretty great though, I loved seeing that train going off the cliff.) I'm more the kind of person who will lie to you to lower your expectations, than someone who will tell you the truth to raise them, even if if they're worth raising. Psychology.
