But seriously I've seen too many players treat Splat Zones like Turf Wars resulting in a complete knockout after having a massive lead.

We've gone from having an 82 point lead to getting knocked out cause two players kept hiding at the spawn point and covering the walls........
 
Last match I took out three people with a bomb who all squid jumped to the same spot.

If you don't gave the ninja perk, don't do it!

Like why would you do it. It takes less than five seconds from spawn to middle. In addition people always do piss poor job of covering the base so there's stuff to do too. If that's not enough then I should also mention that it's a map where your base gets frequently inked so that's a good thing to keep in mind too.

I know how you feel. The time I can spend with the game is going to drop somewhat so I need to pool all my resources into more clothes or even adding slots rather than re-rolling and hoping for better.

But alas it is a deliberate choice to not respect your time to keep the playerbase more healthy by making people grind and re-grind.

okay this changes everything. Since you can't buy gear twice, I suppose you have to order from other players?
I think all the exclusive abilities have three pieces of gear with them one for each different star rating.

The lower stars might be better brands for certain sub abilities though so the lower star ones don't really become obselete and may be better.
 
I rarely superjump, it always is a gamble and usually not worth it. What is the worst is people that superjump even though our base is either invaded or there are a lot of unpainted spots left.

I killed an entire team that super jumped to one guy just now.

Then killed 3 more with the Ink Striker after a super jump.

It was great.

I think I can confirm the Shrimp Pink Polo, I have that one and it does have Ninja Squid (or it's at least something of a very similar name)

That's fine. Just keep brands in mind so you know what to expect when rolling. Trying for Ink Saver (Main) on a SquidForce shirt will only lead to a loss of sanity.

Bubbler users camping super jump notification areas to pop it and give their teammate a shield while they Zerg rush us was easily the most inspired thing I've seen in my current B level ranked matches. :lol
 
Back from a break, gonna give the JR a shot again and see where it gets me. Either this goes amazingly well or I get frustrated in 10 minutes and go back to the good old aerospray. :lol

Been playing since I woke up. Might need a break soon. But man, feels good winning. #TeamRekt (Although this makes it sound like I'm getting Rekt. Woops)

Agreed. I rarely superjump. I only do it if we are clearly winning on a narrow map, our areas are inked, and I see all three teammates active in the middle or farther.
 
So, which is the best special weapon? It's gotta be Inkstrike right?
First 2 minutes and 40-something seconds of a match: Echo

2:45 to 2:58: Kraken and Bubble for insane last-second pushes.

Last 2 seconds: Ink Strike since if you fire off at this point the opposing team can do nothing about it.
 
Playing well with Charger just comes down to practice. Essentially keep playing with a Charger even if you suck with it. Keep doing so with better player than you are. Guess if I were to give one tip then that would be: don't obsess over kills. That's not the only way to be useful to your team.

If you don't use motion controls then just give up.

I might bump up my sensitivity when I go back to chargers, but I think I'm already getting a bit better since I was starting out with around ~600 and am now getting ~900/1000 (with the bonus, so there's lots to go further up still)

Don't worry about the score imo. Position is everything for a charger.

I can confirm all four of those are correct.
 
I think I'm having a love affair with the Dynamo Roller. It's just so damn good at pushing and holding the other team back, what with the Sprinkler, the Echolator and being able to throw a tidal wave of OHKO ink at the enemy. The only major downside is that it takes so long to throw the ink that if you don't time your attack correctly you'll be torn to shreds.
