Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Whoo gotten a lot better at the dual squelcher now that I'm making use of its range better. It's a nice middle ground between the aerospray and big damagers like the .52 and .96

Splat bombs are mostly useless though

I still don't know exactly how the scoring works in ranked. Do you get a penalty if you have captured the zones and then get them taken from you?

The final score doesn't include the penalty, right?

Did you see there is a counter for both teams? (starting with 100), so that is the time (in seconds) you need to take control of the base.... but the game finishes after 5min, in case no team was able to take control for 100s.

These ninja battles Mr.Panic and I are having get so intense. :lol

This might legitimately be the most fun thing I've ever done in a game this generation.

I feel like this one should go back and forth between that and this:

Huh, Wonder-Black is a button mashing machine. Wonder-Yellow, on the other hand, doesn't quite get the idea it seems. Come on man, protect the Earth!

GGs everyone. Need to level up some shoes and then I would have every piece of gear (I have so far) with their default slots filled.

I'm pretty sure I just pissed off a lot of people in turf wars. I was using ninja squid and kelp scoped charger. The range is ridiculous. The sprinkler is the perfect lure. People shoot at it while I shoot at them. It's also a great early warning device. Basically, no one is expecting my range to be that long. It was hilarious! Ninja Squid and fast swim is key.

That feel when you kill 3/4 of the opposition off with the .96 gal and get taken out by the last one because the rest of your team is too busy respawning.

You are a simply a god amongst mere squids. Ascend and take your place at the top!

So what's the consensus on the paint brush? After like 4 games, I don't find it very useful so far.

You gotta use it like a katana, it can be pretty awesome in the right hands. Niche weapon is niche.

So as I was playing some of the SP challenges, which map do we want next and which do we think will be next? I am torn between the Dome and the Docks where you fight the octolings. I like both levels a lot.

That's the obvious part of the rules. I am curious how the penalties are applied?

alright, so with with two Damage Up you still have to almost fully charge the Squiffer (which is really quick) to get a lethal shot. Meanwhile with the Splat Charger takes about as long to charge up for a lethal shot as it takes to fully charge the Squiffer. 3 Damage Ups is the way to go, I think. No wonder this weapon is so damn strong, even in close range it's still as good as a blaster

TWILT, even though we lost, you have to admit, that synergy we had going was awesome. (I was the guy chucking sprinkers down to help you deal with the dude at the bottom of Saltspray; also thanks for the last second shots away from Grakl's sniper rifle so I could infiltrate better.

That's what i'm doing!

My shop gave me:

- 0 New Hats.
- 5 New Shirts. (+ 1 from Spike)
- 0 New Shoes.

>_>

Bringing me to:

Head 39 (of 47)
Clothes 53 (of 77)
Shoes 42 (of 46)

Dem shoes are almost done!

Broke 48K total "turf inked" with the inkbrush. For me, it's second to only the Custom Jr @ 58K. I can't really kill much with the brush (don't have ninja squid), but it spreads paint with a quickness like no other. I like to inkskate to the middle of a patch of enemy paint, take it over, and then try to zip on to the next patch. This is how I've been using it (though more frantic and inefficient in actual game situations) but YMMV:

Oh that was you? That was awesome haha.

Heng is the best sniper I've played with from GAF and regular servers. I feel I've mastered the art of rolling. I'm that roller on your team you need if you want to win. When I play against Heng it's always a battle but when we're on the same team as sniper and roller our team will win.

If anyone needs a roller I'm that dude.

can someone link me to the site that lists all the gear? I want to know how many items there are with Damage Up main and a high chance of Damage Up subs

Nvm, I figured it out.

So yeah the E-Litre is fun when you actually hit people. But you literally can't carry a team with this thing for Splat Zones unless your team mates are on the ball.

So conflicted. Might just save this one for Tower Control.

Yesss, finally made it to A-.

Using the Inkbrush is great on Blackbelly Skatepark, especially if the other team lacks Chargers or Killer Wail to force you off the central tower.

I'm playing turf war and I had two people, one with an aerospray and one with a blaster sneak up behind me and start shooting me while I was guarding the top section of Saltspray. They both sucked at aiming so bad I was able to turn around and kill them as they were shooting :P. I enjoy random matchmaking.
