You're always going to enjoy the game based on the IP you are most interested in.
My favorite is LEGO Indiana Jones followed by LEGO Batman 2. Others like LEGO Marvel and LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga.
Can't really go wrong though. They're all pretty great in their own ways.

IMO Lego Marvel and Lego Batman 3 are above the rest. Tons of characters and replay value.
Both were 50% off, would the dailies be better you think?
Like CosmicQueso said, whichever IP you like best. That said, the Lord of the Rings one uses dialogue clipped right from the movies, and is pretty neat.

I'm a little confused with Franchise Packs. So I have Wolfenstein New Order and The Old Blood in my cart. If they are part of the pack that's on the front page, they won't get any lower, right?

Well, i'm not exactly a tournament player. Kind of semi-competitive, if that makes sense?
"Ranked" is not a necessity for me, good skill matching and even playing field are enough.
Ah, well, enough about that, i'll just keep studying the games available and wait until/if i can get to test CS:GO someday.
Wish Quake collection would go on sale. (For single player shooters, Q1 and 2 and expansions.)

I heard about their shenanigans raising the price of Wolfenstein, but I've heard such good reviews and now that I have a 144hz g-sync monitor, I feel like I have to have it.
I'm sorry but i have no idea. I've got the feeling Civ won't be discounted too heavily, Borderlands... maybe ? (speaking about the last one, the first two will be heavily discounted as usual) But that's really me.
At worst if you already bought them and they are indeed heavily discounted you still have the refund option.

A: As Gilbert Gottfried once said, "You fool!" But fear not as you can now request a refund. As per the FAQ, refunds on the basis that an item you bought is now cheaper do not constitute abuse, however do note that refunds can take up to seven days to process, so don't rely on that money to buy the item again as it may no longer be a featured deal by the time you receive the funds.

I thought the Wolfenstein price raising was a misconception, and that people were confusing a previous sale price with the current base price or something?
I bought it. Played 10 minutes and then refunded it. I don't know why. I just felt that way. Will keep my money for Apotheon and/or other games.

basically anything that's not featured as a daily / flash deal right now could be in the upcoming days. so if you buy a bunch of stuff today chances are most of them will be cheaper on future days
so; buy dailies/flash sales, and on the last day buy anything that wasnt featured / you still want

Not sure, I just saw something on that in the other thread that is more focused on GTA V.
I believe it's cause the ones not featured on the frontpage (as daily deals) will last until the 22:nd, and could possibly be discounted even more during that time. If they aren't featured as a daily deal, with a better discount, you buy them on the last day.
Thanks I'll keep a lookout, but can't see them discounting them much more really, if they do 75% I might consider the refund option.
Buy it and Bad Rats at the same time, then post a comment to the activity feed saying "Thanks for the gag gifts, guys" and then later when they see you actually playing it say "I was just idling for cards."

Anything that is not currently a flash or daily has the chance to go even lower. The rule is to wait until the last day and then buy anything that caught your fancy if it HAS NOT been a flash/daily.

Thank you all, I'm most interested to buy it to play with my young brother so I'll try to ask him why he likes more. Not that a 4 year old won't want everything. XD
The GTA thing is definitely dirty, and there are other games that do the same, but overall it feels like a witch hunt. Yesterday, people were all set to string up XCOM because they confused the expansion price with the complete pack price, so... kinda take all these accusations with a grain of salt.

Apotheon ain't great. Theres so many other metroid-ish games that do it way better. Guacamelee and Axiom Verge being two. There could be a deal on at least one of them during the sale.

Completely forgot about refunds, maybe I'll try Akiba's Trip and see if it is still bugged / crashing like I heard before.

You'll still get achievements playing offline and with family sharing, so it's not like you can hide it. Why not just buy it for yourself and not care what other people think?

According to Steam Support you're allowed to use things like autoclicker for the mini-game and not get banned. I have a Razer keyboard so I made a macro that clicks repeatedly until I press the key again, someone used the throw money at screen ability on a level 170 boss. I got 20,000k fun times.
Really? Pretty sure I saw screenshots of mails of people getting banned from the event for cheating. Your method doesn't seem dangerous, but take care anyways. Not like the game is worth that much.

Your monster badge levels up and becomes worth more exp. Once you join a game, you keep gaining levels even when offline.

That's what I got after asking them. Maybe they cheated in a different way, who knows. If something does happen, I think they'd give me a second chance considering I was following advise from a Support agent. Thanks for the heads up though.
