Steam Summer Sale 2015 thread of refunding everything you buy (June 11-21)

Just bought FC4 after already owning it on PS4, and man...much better experience on PC.

And you can plug your DS4 in and it'll work exactly the same! Assuming you don't have anything running that'll intercept the input and convert it to a 360 controller.

Wait.....wut

yeah someone mentioned that had this glitch since the first day, so I'm sure it'll still update every 12.

Also anyone play town of salem, read the comments and it's sounds pretty interesting.

I played a little with my XB1 controller and was like "what am I doing?" and switched to kb/m.

Is the DLC for Alien Isolation any good or should I just stick with the main game?

Edit - answered earlier in the thread

And the performance looks great too. Should run well on my old 7770.

It's a fine little standalone of a Flash game-esque form of Mafia, but you should be aware that Town of Salem is free-to-play in your browser. The Steam version just gives you some in-game credits to buy cosmetics, so heads up if that's not your cup of tea. Browser and Steam players can play with each other cross-platform too.

It's probably been asked but H1Z1?
I played it around launch with my brother and it was mostly a blast. It felt a lot like DayZ except it had much more polish.

That being said it was still riddled with bugs which crippled the fun and we eventually gave up due to all of the problems (Item spawning mostly). I'm not sure how well they've patched it moving into the future since I haven't played in awhile.

Man, mouse clicker can really stack the cash on the meta game, I just saw someone getting more than 30k a click and made like 40 million on one boss.

I bought that classic XB game, Sudeki. It has some nice character designs, the combat looks kinda fun and the Steam reviews were pretty good. Also, it was cheap.
Of course DoA5's bikini DLC isnt on sale. Only the boring casualwear stuff is :/

Gal Civ III is a game to get if it's a Daily/Flash sale.

I'd like to second this recommendation. Great Space 4x. The ship editor is amazing. Lots of game customization options, pretty good tech tree. Some janky stuff, especially the battle scenes where the camera misses half the action, but once your empire gets going you'll auto-resolve everything. They made some strange design decision like with their tech specialization (which doesn't matter because you can trade with other races for the tech of other specializations), but overall its a good follow up to Gal Civ 2 and i'm sure with futher support and expansions will be the best space 4x out there, well until the new Master of Orion comes out ;)

Grabbed Ethan Carter, hoping the autosaving isn't as troublesome as others have stated. If I can get Ground Zeroes for $5, I think I'll be good for a while.

Has anyone tried Subnautica? It looks gorgeous, and I love the concept of underwater exploration, but Early Access always makes me worried.

Subnautica has been brought up probably two dozen times in this thread so far between people asking about if and others answering them, and most of the feedback seems pretty damned good.

Subnautica is a game I'm grabbing as soon as it becomes a Daily/Flash deal. I fucking love what I've seen and the fact that it's underwater gameplay, with a submarine, on an alien planet, makes it a must have for me.

I "beat" Metal Slug X in less than 60 mins. With unlimited credits, of course.

Then it hit me that I could refund this, even with 4 card drops...

Ew, I can see people abusing this shit.

Oh sweet, the Director's Commentary in Grim Fandango Remastered works a lot like the commentary in The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay did. That's pretty cool.

think I'm going to get Apotheon

would get Grim Fandango but there are too many adventure games in my backlog

How is the port? Better than emulators?

I wouldn't know how it compares to other versions, but it ran mostly flawlessly. There were some framerate drops during the last mission since they throw at you shit tons of enemies. But that's about it, I haven't touch netplay yet.
