Fallout 4 - Multiple E3 Gameplay Demos, Releasing November 10th, 2015

Four dialogue options, one per face button of the controller.

Oh yeah, thank god Bethesda owns Fallout. ...

Yall need to chill out about the dialogue system. For one we saw that there are still options blocked off by skill level, and two you dont know if there isn't some way to press the trigger for more options. Or maybe one dialogue option leads to a sub tree kind of like The Mass effect games everyone is comparing it to. We don't know enough yet.

I mean come on, I was a little cautious after the trailer but this looks amazing.

You want full sentences so you can make an informed decision over what character is going to say? Yeah well fuck you, this is the future.

Maybe someone will mod them to show the real sentences your character will say... The short two or three word choices are a terrible choice, especially with writers as utterly mediocre as Bethesda's. I foresee a lot of reloading because the choice was simply not clear enough on how your character is going to react. It's happened in Mass Effects, it will happen here.

When Todd says that there are '50 weapon bases' for customisation, I hope that means there are more 'exotic' weapons scattered around the wasteland, rather than just using customisation.

Am I weird? I disliked New Vegas but liked Fallout 3. I also dislike every other Bethesda game pretty much (especially Skyrim). Pretty damn hyped for this though.

Considering Bethesda's writing, that would not necessarily be a bad thing.

Not weird. You like Bethesda exploration/world building, but do not find the high fantasy settings in the elder scrolls games satisfying? Several people I know are like that, including my brother.

I didn't realize just how much I missed Fallout. I got nostalgia feels like crazy watching those videos. The fact that it's coming this year....way to go Bethesda!!

I do like those types of settings though I just thought skyrim was boring as fuck lol. I don't know. Felt like I was in twilight zone when that released.

Maybe Flalout 3 wins me over with the environment/humour/premise.

i was actually screaming that he basically went out of his way to clock GAF haters. talking about the PBR, saying you can play as a woman. this looks so good.

I will wait until they reveal more details about whether or not you can play as an LGBT character before I get hyped. If you're forced to play as a straight character I don't think this game will be for me.

I am excited, but on the other hand, it still seems like an HD-remake of Fallout 3. I guess just the clunky-ness of the motion, and I am not sure that all the dialogue will be as smooth as what we saw here.

Don't get me wrong, I am still excited, I just kind of hoped that next-gen would be crazy fresh.

This game looks fucking awesome. I had a huge smile across my face watching the trailer last night - this old time music is so good.

I could give 2 shits that the animations are still janky and that the character models still don't look the best. I play Bethesda games because no other developer has shown that they have the capability to create a world like this.

Have you played Fallout before? I've never come across any romancing quests/options in all my playtime in 3 and NV. Its not a Mass Effect game.

Edit: damn, I forgot Fisto.

I think he's referring to the other half either being a husband or wife depending on your gender.

I hope that is the case. But if something like that is enough to persuade you not to play the game at all i don't think it's a game for you period.

I have only played Fallout: New Vegas and was really bored after a 4/5 hours. I just felt that the world was too open with not enough to do. In the end I just wandered about for a bit, then stuck it back in the box.

The hype for this game is through the roof and I heard great things about Fallout 3, so could try this. However, was New Vegas a massive departure for the franchise? If not, I'll probably swerve Fallout 4 as it's probably not for me.

I'm all for role play in games but have little time for things like crafting. I'm currently enjoying Witcher 3 but have already smacked it down to easy so I can just enjoy the story without really needing to craft.

There were sexual encounters (and shotgun weddings) in Fallout games long before Bethesda got their tentacles on the license.

You weren't forced to be hetero in Skyrim.

Crafting looks ok but the trailer was very, very impressive to me. The game looks like tons of fun and I can't wait to get it day 1. Gonna play as the female because the voice acting sounded good. More sass please!

Seriously, barring any massive surprises in the next 24 hours, how anybody couldn't think that this is the most interesting game of this year is completely beyond me.

It looks like it will be absolutely spectacular and is among the few games that could actually justify a $60 price tag.

If nothing else it definitely said 'Bethesda' to me, which is a good and bad thing. Graphics not mindblowing but that's not a real knock against it, dialogue was urg, animation jank was straight out of FO3. Crafting system looks cool, but for me the big hurdle with crafting systems is just that I never find them fun enough to put any time into. So if they can make the crafting system fun enough in itself that I would be willing to spend time with it, that would be a huge plus mark.

Basically it looks like FO3/NV with the expected technology updates, but that might be all I need.
