Is it still a huge pain in the ass to remove a credit card from your Xbox Live account?
Is there any way to download a Wii U game using a friend's account (who bought the game in question) on your own Wii U?
Should I just deal with it and perform the transfer?
You just like to be in control with women.I'm a male but I like playing as females characters in games especially in mmorpgs, am I a perv?
With Melee in the mix, you cannot have The One Console, modding aside. Also, Wii BC on U is layered below another loading screen, that's suboptimal. Also, U no can 50Hz => crappy PAL VC.I'm having attachment issues, GAF.
I want to transfer my Wii to my Wii U so I can keep with the times, upgrade some games to the Wii U versions for discounted prices and just have the one console connected to the TV. But I know doing this will restore my Wii to factory settings. We've been through so much together.
And then there's the SSB Melee & Brawl game saves on my GameCube Memory Card and GameCube controller ports. I have the GCN adapter for Wii U but sometimes SSBU just doesn't scratch that itch like Melee or Brawl do.

Shouldn't be. Unless you're trying to do it via the website.
I just called the 1-800 number yesterday to cancel my girlfriend's gold sub, and they took the card off without a problem.
Now that Xbone is getting 360 backwards compatibility, I should start paying attention to those Games With Gold. Can you claim them for free on the web store or something? I'm trying to claim Thief there, but it's showing up as $35.
Having to call in is an unreasonable pain in the ass. Guess I'm buying cards.
Thief isn't until tomorrow. In a few hours at the earliest, depending on where you live.
Oh shit I hadn't even considered that. Dang now I wish I had been claiming those GWG 360 offerings. Oh well. Now that Xbone is getting 360 backwards compatibility, I should start paying attention to those Games With Gold.
Another question...
Does anything come close to Half Life 3 now? People have been dying for TLG, well, there it is. FF7 remake? On the way! In terms of fanbase & desire, does anything come remotely close to Half Life 3 right now?
Beyond Good & Evil 2, although it's been abandoned according to that thread. Warcraft 4, new WipEout (that might be too niche/hardcore), Silent Hills.

FF7 remake will replace TLG as a far off game that people will start to think has been cancelled.
In The Last of Us Remastered, sometimes I see an icon in the bottom left corner of the screen that seems to be asking me to shake the controller or move it in some way. The game never explains why, and I don't even know if the DS4 has any kind of motion control. I tried shaking the controller but it doesn't do anything. Am I doing it wrong?
I was confused by that as well. I think it's supposed to recharge the battery in your flashlight.
I have a copy of Fallout 3 on disc. It's a Games For Windows Live version. How do I activate and play it?
Yeah, it's for your flashlight. I can't remember if you can only charge it by shaking the controller when the icon is showing or if you can just shake it whenever to keep it charged. I think it's the latter though.
I have a question for something I never really thought about until recently. My old CRT TV allows me to play my PAL GameCube games at 60Hz, but my PS2 makes the games show up in black and white when I try to play them at 60Hz. They are both connected with their red/yellow/white cable into scart. Is there any reason why the PS2 doesn't show in colour?
I can't remember, but I think 60Hz works when I connect my PS2 to my HDTV.
You install it normally and activate it through games for windows live interface (req. installers should be in the dvd). After that you can just disable GFWL with this little thing right here.
I don't know if that works but maybe you can just skip right to the Disabler.
Its rotting corpse still shambles on. I'm not sure MS actually ever officially said when it will die for good.I thought GFWL has been retired?
Thanks! I didn't even know you could run out of battery lol.
About your PS2: I think you need a real scart cable for 60hz games. You're using a composite cable (the worst kind of connection for CRTs) plugged into an adapter. I have a scart cable for my PS2 and 60hz games work perfectly (not to mention, the IQ is much better with scart).

Is Mega Man Battle Network worth playing? I was in Japan and went crazy on the capsule toy machines. I ended up getting a Megaman.exe keychain and now I'm contemplating playing those games. If I do, I'd prefer to start from the very beginning (GBA, right?) unless there's a collection or updated version more current?
I am a die hard Mega Man fan, beat 1-10 plus X1-4. MM2, 3, and 9 are my top favorites. I understand that Battle Network is more like an RPG though, I'm OK with this.
Are there brands I'd better be looking for, or any of those cheap cables (like Hama) will be OK? Although the latter may be the only thing still available, I guess.

The magic words you need to look for are "Fully-wired RGB SCART".
Account, if you have an NNID, otherwise hardware. The NNID regularly is tied to the hardware as well, though. Are Nintendo 3DS e-shop games (like Kirby's Triple Deluxe) locked to the account or the specific 3DS?
Well, yeah. It says "Model: Video Cable (RGB)", but nothing about being "fully-wired". So if I understand correctly, it's still component regardless of what they say, since they don't mention it being fully-wired?
It's hard to say, of course, but if they're saying RGB it's probably good.
(And, just as a little aside: It's composite you want to really avoid. Component is actually quite good! Loads of people get those confused.)
It's absolutely worth your time to play at least a couple games in the series. Personally, my favourites are 5 and Battle Chip Challenge, but most folks will tell you 3 is the best, I imagine. You can start anywhere in the series, really; it's up to you.
The first game is pretty rough around the edges compared to the later games, but in a way that means it's good to start with 1 if you're planning on playing the whole series, since it'd be tough to move backward to after playing others. And it's not a bad game, all told, just rough.
If you know Japanese, the first game had a JP-only port on DS called Operate Shooting Star. It's only marginally different, but I would recommend it purely for the addition of the second-screen map, as the dungeons in EXE1 can be needlessly painful at times.
