I agree with the YouTube panel on the Sony conference.
It gets a A+ for hype, that is for sure. But once the dust settles, the big highlights for me were:
A kickstarter
FFVII remake (not console exclusive, like the port was) and a CG trailer with No release date
No Mans Sky no release date
The Last Guardian looking EXACTLY like it did 6 years ago
Sony have pulled a blinder on the hype side of things. But what strong titles do they have coming for this holiday that need a PS4?

Yeah it seemed neat. I know pretty much nothing about the series though so I don't really have an attachment to it. Much like the Tomb Raider set I feel that the vast majority of it is just better experienced as not a video game.

He's not wrong about the exclusives part though. It was a good conference for simply games themselves (which, I admit, is most important), but I don't think it's a conference that makes one want to go out and buy a PS4.

My scores too.
Loads of stuff shown and it was shorter than usual, my only complaint is that I felt they rushed through some of that games and I'd like to have seen more of them. Glad they didn't bother with VR, it's not really the right environment for it.
I loved the Media Molecule showing, looked completely different to anything that I've seen before. Incredibly beautiful.
It seems that the PS4 media app is going up today at some point.

Conference was an A- from me. Fantastic megatons that brought Gaf crawling on its knees, some nice debuts, namely Horizon which looks great and Dreams from MM. I didn't care about the exclusive dlc nonsense but the conference was awesome.
But I took points off because of no Bloodborne expansion announcement

That was like the worst part of a UC game to show.. I still want to play it.. but that wasn't impressive.

Shenmue 3 being a KS was a letdown.
FF7 thing has me excited.
Weird.. I've wanted 2 of those things for like ever.. but overall I was a bit letdown.
Battlefront has this weird look of old OG CD-based games (the bad ones) but in HD. Not that it plays like one.. but it looks weird. Still want it though.
I actually liked the BO3 campaign thing.. looks super fun.

Uncharted 4 and Horizon really blew me away. Overall it was a great conference but those 2, WOW.

+ music / video stuff even if not for european like me (seem pretty interesting)
no comment : no man sky (dunno what to think of it, seems boring outside the crazy procedural tech)
- classic uncharted shown (where is tr like level design like previous gameplay ?)

--- dreams (they need to go further than sparke and they do less than in their limited lbp)

I'm not into shooters, but CoD Multiplayer looked SUPER hype, and almost sold me on the game right then and there.

If someone told you a few weeks ago that you'd see The Last Guardian, FF7 Remake and Shenmue III on stage at this conference you'd probably die laughing.

This argument about exclusive fall games is BS, after this E3 you would mad to go against Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront

I am in shock, 43 years old and I was lost for words. There was a tear in my eye when I realised Final Fantasy VII was being remade, these last few weeks have been out of this world and I'm in shock.
