I'd like to add that the banter between Drake and Sully in the demo was fantastic.

Yet again, Naughty Dog sets a new bar for cinematic gameplay. The UC4 sequence was real gameplay, with excellent graphics/animation/sound/destruction/vehicles/shooting/melee combat/etc. No one else in the industry can do what Naughty Dog does.

Thank you for focusing on destruction ND. Love how you can't remain in some spots for cover for too long, keeping you constantly on your toes. All those little details like with the sandbags and the debris flying everywhere will make the game so much more dynamic and fun to play.

Hopefully a lot of the destruction will carry over into multiplayer.

the mess that the bullets and explosions make, made it that much better than the previous 3 games imo. it looks so good.

and i thought i was feeling a bit jaded about this franchise. looks to go out with a big bang.

They're making their set-pieces include as much agency as possible within their confines, and beautifully weaving small cinematic moments directly into the action as it unfolds. I'm not all that partial to cinematic games, but I'm all on board the direction Naughty Dog is taking us.

That was far more than simply pushing forward and hitting X at the precise moment like so many AAA demos today.

Agreed, I think my favorite moment of the series might be in UC2 when the helicopter hits the building your in and the room starts shifts around while everything explodes, but your still in control and trying to fight. This coupled with the first demo leads me to think that in between set pieces when there are just normal shootouts, there will at least be verticality and branching paths so sneaking up and taking advantage of a situation is always within grasp.

Overall it destroys The Order, it's big, shit happens and fidelity is on the same level while rendering so much more, it's not comparable.

I drew the same comparison pretty quick honestly, and I've played TW3 for about 230 hours.

Yeah, definitely reminds me of it with some of the aesthetic. I think it looks better technically...but the Witcher 3 is a trulling amazing looking game (and one of the best I have ever played). It is not an insulting comparison at all!

As soon as I saw Drake start firing weapons, I knew I'd just get annoyed by the shitty controls (weapon aim sucked in all of ND's games I've played through). It'll be fantastic to watch someone play this. I just hope the plot won't be copy/paste of other Uncharted stories.

Ohh. I dunno man. UC2 at e3 09 was godlike. That helicopter taking the building down was pure sex/swag city. Not to take anything away from this presentation. I was extremely impressed by what the Naughty Gawdz have done, but that UC2 reveal was unlike anything we had seen at that point in time. My opinion of course.

In my heart, the E3 where U2 gameplay was revealed was the GOAT.

U3 had quite a bit of destruction as well. Obviously not as much but with the extra power of PS4 it wasnt hard to see this coming.
