Amazing.
TLG was boring, FF7 Remake was CG, and Shenmue 3 is a Kickstarter.
Horizon was the only good showing imo. This E3 was good at building hype, but beyond that it was alright.
Shenmue is coming 2017, best case scenario. Last Guardian still seems a ways off. No release date for FFVII. If anything, they've just made 2 more Last Guardians.
Anyone know what the game at 1:39.28 is here

I am just glad the constant unfunny jokes can end for these 3 games.![]()
Nah, I appreciate the excitement for the holy trinity But I was never Bothered about any of them and the E3 demos/trailers for them weren't exactly as amazing as actually showing the title names on stage for the fans was.
For me if they'd have finally unveiled The Getaway or AGENT or even GT7 I'd probably be feeling the same way.
2BFP too.
Sony are in NO FUCKS MODE guys!!
You know what this means? Shenmue 3 next :OOOOO
Why pay, when you don't have toand the board votes down the project
An unaffiliated Kickstarter launched lolIs there any 'and so and so...is OUT NOW' things for ps4? I guess besides the media player.
Probably to gauge interest, no doubt its getting funded by Sony now imo.

It's almost sad that the yearly jokes for those three games are done now

If I was to guess....Everyone's Gone to the Rapture.
Yeah, Uncharted 4 and Horizon were the real stars of the show for me.
On hype alone, the "trinity of megatons" is doing wonders for Sony, but I'm curious to see how all three of these titles will actually translate once we've gotten past the sheer excitement going on right now.
Sure I do. They indulged a lot of people's nostalgia and disguised a very poor lineup of games. Pandering can be done in a bad way and you know it can, so spare me your attitude, bro.
I'm guessing you misunderstood me. I'm saying it was done poorly in this case. I'm not arguing about the morality of it. It's pretty obvious that companies have to pander to their audience, but in this case it was done so blatantly and obviously to disguise a lackluster lineup. They announced an HD remake and let us know that a game that was supposed to be out last generation is finally coming out this generation. Then like 90% of everything else was third party stuff.
I'm sorry I'm not blinded by nostalgia, but it was a genuinely disappointing conference.
Sony is probably paying for it. That game is not being made on 2mil,or even 5. The kickstarter is to give executives a viewing how it may be received so they can justify giving it the real development cost and marketing.
Everything is possible after today.
No Persona 5. 0/10 conference
Actually, where the hell was Persona 5?
Why is shenmue 3 a Kickstarter?
does anyone know why sony isn't funding shenmue 3 themselves to lock up exclusivity (and ensure it can be the game fans want it to be)?
it was a little odd seeing them announce it as a kickstarter.
I would put Destiny into the "minus" category, doesnt even deserve a "meh" and you could tell Boyes wanted to get it out of the way quickly. Have to fulfill those co-marketing contractual obligations but yeah the Destiny bit was the lowest point of the conference to me.By far the greatest conference I've watched.
THREE NUKES
+++ TLG right off the bat
+++ FF VII Remake
+++ Shenmue 3
Good stuff
+ DLNA
+ Uncharted 4
+ Horizon
Meh
- Disney Infinity
- CoD Partnership
- Destiny
- AC

Um... what about the multiple routes Bruce could have taken during the car chase?
They have plenty for the Holiday.
That's the big disparity between "gamers like us" and the reality.
They have huge third party partnerships, every major third party titles, remasters, huge indie exclusives. They got tons of games.
They just don't have the big first party exclusives that people like you and I really look for, since it makes PS4 special -for us- versus how many games we can just buy on our souped up PCs. And we've seen a lot of movement within Sony first parties, but a lot of stuff has been delayed/didn't go as smoothly, and we're seeing the result of that. Everything first party is 2016.
But PS4 has a zillion big games this Holiday. And that's why you will still see it selling very well, whilst people keep asking "where are the games?" It's just in the form of third party games/remasters/indies.
Other 'bro' stuff lmfaoYou must not like gaming much eh? Sony historically killed E3 tonight. They nailed the hardcore people with the holy trinity (FFVII R, TLG, Shenmue 3), showed SFV. They got Call of Duty, Destiny, and other 'bro' stuff too. It's hard to top this.
