Some quick thoughts.
The only Sony exclusive that still winds my crank is No Man's Sky. No release date? Damn it.
Last Guardian looks ancient and older than most of the 360 games people will be playing on their newly back compat Xbox Ones this year. It looked like a technical mess. Very nice animation, but the window for that game to sell in any quantity expired 8 years ago.
Shenmue 1 was one of the worst games I bought on my Dreamcast. Never understood the appeal of those games, except as a museum piece that foreshadowed the many times more brilliant GTA 3. Glad fans might be getting some closure, but I will forever remain mystified as to that series' appeal.
Any Witness mentions? Did I blank out on a mention? Getting sick of waiting for that one too.
FF7 remake. Does this mean the mainline FF games are even further away? And is the mass market still even interested in that series; it's been years since the last mainline entry. A remake of a 15+ year old game drawing this level of interest just shows how dead the traditional JRPG market really is.
Was not enthralled with Sony this year. Fallout 4 and Battlefront 3 are my only sure fire buys this holiday.
