It kinda is at this point.Overrated? Fucking backwards compatibility is overrated?
Wow.
My innitial reaction was "holy shit" (it really was, look it up) but after thinking about it it really is two years or at the very least one year too late.

Wow.
The biggest megaton for you is that you can now play your old games one your One?I should qualify that by saying it's the biggest megaton for me.
Overrated? Fucking backwards compatibility is overrated?
Wow.
Sort of? I have yet to play a Wii game on my Wii U. Never played an Xbox game on my 360. I think I played Persona 4 on my PS3, but that was it. I guess I got some use out of the feature the first year of the PS2's release, but once quality PS2 games started hitting the pipeline, I promptly forgot all about it.
This is all anecdotal of course, but I have a feeling my experiences closely mirror those of the majority. Backwards compatibility is a nice feature, and given the option of having it or not, sure, I'll take it. But it's not a game-changer.
The biggest megaton for you is that you can now play your old games one your One?
Seriously?
Yep. Three vaporware titles with no release dates. People be cray.
Backwards compatibility is the past im more concerned about the present and future
Hololens is cool and all but they didnt even hint at a release window or price point which means its not coming out till 2017 if not later and even then it will need games for it which will take another few years
What exactly do you mean flawlessly? Did they announce 100% backwards compatibility?

You don't know what vapor ware is obviously.Yep. Three vaporware titles with no release dates. People be cray.

That was the problem with MS conference, that the games wasn't the thing that made ppl the most excited. It was BC and Hololens.I should qualify that by saying it's the biggest megaton for me.
I understand why everyone loved the Sony conference so much, but it didn't do a lot for me. I thought most of the games shown looked pretty boring, save for UC4 and I want to see how that whole sequence would play out with a normal person playing. The Shenmue III bit was great, but I wish Sony just announced they were making the game instead of a Kickstarter. It was leagues better than Microsoft's show, but that's not saying a lot.

Horizon looked everything but boring. Unique and amazing.I understand why everyone loved the Sony conference so much, but it didn't do a lot for me. Dat salt.Yep. Three vaporware titles with no release dates. People be cray.
The three big "megatons" from Sony did absolutely nothing for me so I'd have to disagree with this.
Backwards Compatibility was the biggest megaton of E3 so far.
They showed about 30 seconds of Mass Effect running at about 15fps before conspicuously cutting the feed lol.
The conference isn't as impressive now that I start to look at release dates and time lines. The Last Guardian says 2016, but would anybody be surprised if it gets pushed another year? Shenmue 3 and and FFVII:R are almost guaranteed to be 2018 titles.
Sony did a hell of a job of making their lineup look good, I'll give them that. 2016, 2017 and 2018 look like they could be great years of exclusives. 2015... well I guess that's what third parties are for.
Yeah, it's weird how remasters have been getting so much backlash but suddenly a very limited selection of 360 games working on Xbone is a godsend.People really thought this was a megaton? I bought next get so i can play next gen games.
Also its only for like what 20 titles right now. Whoopie
Horizon looked everything but boring. Unique and amazing.
Exactly! MS isn't missing anything in any genre, they just don't have the courage and vision, to let devs do something like this!

Backwards compatibility is a big deal and we would be better off if Sony had it also.
Horizon looked everything but boring. Unique and amazing.
Well, I guess I'm one of the few that is love with Xbox One getting backwards compatibility. Really shocked that people don't care. I would've loved for it to be possible for the PS4, too. One less console to clutter under the TV.
You don't know what vapor ware is obviously.
What they showed besides those Hella expensive . Unlike ms showings. Horizon and uncharted looked epic
Man alive, opinions!! How can people say if one is voted higher than the other you are delusional lol.
I care very little for the big 3 Sony announced but I do care about Uncharted/Horizon/Battlefront As I do Halo/Gears/TombRaider/Fallout. I feel Microsoft stepped up and Sony did too.
Backwards compatibility is a big deal and we would be better off if Sony had it also.
It's called PS Now. It isn't very good, but it exists.
no its not. it might have been during the initial software drought. Now there are over 100 new titles coming in one year's time. Aint nobody got time for the ugly old games..

I dunno... all the games I wanted to play last gen are getting re-released so that they look and play better.
Why would I want 100% backwards compatibility when it seems like publishers are giving us the gems?
