Steam Summer Sale 2015 thread of refunding everything you buy (June 11-21)

maybe tomorrow it rains
Final Fantasy XIII-2. I knew it would come. 50% off is enough for me to bite, given how much I enjoyed XIII.

To all Xulima newbs from this sale: All damage over time, and don't increase your caster's mana bar (they'll be potion junkies anyways).

Don't agree with not increasing the mana bar, some of those spells at end game are mana intensive.

Best advice I would give is make a caster Cleric for the back row. His late game mass buff spells are gamesaving. He's a crappy caster early on, but becomes godlike at the end.

I wouldn't even say it's grindy, you just kill everything and know WHEN to go after stuff. There's even a set number of ranbats with some predictability and a borrowed Atlus encounter feature.

Not grindy that you have to grind to level, but grindy that there are just so many packs that you can't really avoid, it felt like a bit of a grind.

Did they fix the game? I just joined a new one and got 4 card drops.

Same here. Was able to resume my game from before the reset (although at zero) and got 4 drops instantly. 'Bout time since I didn't get any yesterday even though I was pretty active and ended at over 2500. Glad to have joined the same room as we're already over 275.

BTW even tho the flash sale says "Street Fighter Franchise" the only flash sale is USFIV, all the costume sales are valid thru june22

What is all missing from the "All-in" pack?

Got FF13 then realize it was 60gigs, I have 5/1 internet, it's gonna take forever to download this, thinking about getting a refund, i don't have that level of patience..

Ugh. Was going to log in to steamcommunity since I can't sell cards on mobile app.

Steam sends email to yahoo account, always forget the damn password, get locked out of yahoo for 12 hours. Oh fucking well.

So... no Trails in the Sky nor Grim Dawn today either. Should I just buy The Talos Principle and give up on TitS and ASS, I mean, GD?

Space Engineers is amazing, everyone should buy it.

The devs are probably some of the best early access devs out there. They update about once a week with actual new content.

Seriously, just look at the update feed on Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/news/?appids=244850

Oh good, maybe you can answer my concerns about the game. I really wanted to like SE, and I was thrilled when they had a free weekend for it a while back, but the more I tried the survival aspect of the game, the less I was enjoying myself. I tried the scenario where they start you on a platform attached to an asteroid with some very basic stuff at your disposal, and for the life of me I couldn't get anywhere near enough resources to build anything. All of the various components that I needed required so many resources, and I could hold such a small amount, that it was taking forever to mine things. Not to mention the fact that I kept burning through my meager supply of fuel and couldn't find any more. I would jet over to other asteroids, but they didn't seem to have much more either. I actually never made a single ship before I ended up getting frustrated and uninstalling the game.

The game's advertised as having a survival mode where you have to scrounge for all your parts, and that's really what I would like to play. Is it at all possible to play SE in this way?

Quick question, how well is FFXIII optimized for PC? Am I better off getting a PS3 version of it, or does it run well without the bells and whistles of modding the graphics?

I'm just looking for the cheap, and close to console version option. My TV is 720p anyways, not really looking for insane floor tesselation or whatever. :p

Guys :

GRAV or Life is Feudal ?

I really like minecraft and just like wandering around mindlessly and craft here and there. Explore new places caves etc. Do GRAV give these ?

The game has a weird framerate issue where it'll randomly drop frames, even in not so demanding areas. Still, if you have decent computer, you can make it look waaay better than the ps3 version, while running at the same speed (or even at 60fps in most areas). So, PC easily wins.

From what I watched with GRAV it is okay.

But stay away from LiF..its tedious upon tedious.

You're still better off getting the PC version, but Square really botched the port.

Is there a PS3 movie mod yet?
