I feel like Sony has figured out how to give good conference. Though 2014 was kind of a lull, between 2013's E3, this E3,. and PSX in January they've figured out its best to mainly focus on games games games.

The pace, the lack of media, Vita, etc. just spot on. Bunch of megatons in a row and the conf was bookended by two nice demos.

That's just mean. I want Crash more than TLG,Shenmue and FFVII combined...
Backwards compatibility factored into my decision to purchase practically every Playstation console I own. I'm not expecting PS3 support since I still have a working unit, but my PS2 no longer reads discs properly.

Just got around to watching the conference. Good god, that was fucking brilliant. Super stoked for all the people that have been after FFVII / Shenmue & The Last Guardian!
I don't get this at all. The older PS1 Crash games are too dated to work with today's audiences and the more recent stuff, Crash of the Titans & Mind over Mutant, were average dreck.
I really don't get the appeal for wanting Crash back and I liked the PS1 games a lot.

Pretty big news, PS4 getting produced in Brazil. I'd imagine that'll lead to a major price drop for them.

You did, but it won't matter how much the kickstarter makes. I'm sure the contracts are already signed, and were probably signed before the kickstarter. The amount of money it brings in will not shift that.
E3 2016 I'm guessing
Nintendo's event was poor and Microsoft's conference was too safe but at least they showed mainly 2015 games mixed with 2016 stuff. There was barely any footage of Uncharted collection, no updated builds of Tearaway Unfolded, and not really much Sony pushes for Dragon Quest or Zesteria unless they're switching that stuff for Paris.
Ideally there should be a good ratio of both known and unknown not all 2016 like Sony did here which is why I think some of it could have been pushed back to their other event.

I love Sony before but after this I think they pretty much secured life long fan.
