So I opened a Paypal dispute at the beginning of the month for my collectors corp box, since I never received my replacement hulkbuster and ultron. finally hit the 1 month mark since i originally emailed them so I escalated it to a claim. This is beyond fucking ridiculous. Hopefully Paypal gets them to send my replacements or help with getting a (partial) refund.
Sorry, just wanted to vent somewhere and since it is funko related....

Hottopic is so frustrating:
* Order #1 first off I order the 10 Doctor exclusive before any other exclusive show up so I don't run the risk of them ruining out, I wanted to O with international shipping but their normal shipping fee is so high I decided to use a forwarding service.
* One day after that they have a "sale" cutting the intentional shipping fee to an actual reasonable price, o.k what ever, I can at least save some money on shipment once the other doctor who funko hit and I solidify my orders with the forwarding service.
* Order #2 some other DW figures show up so I make a second order,but before doing show I look up my earlier order to see if I am able to cancel it, and make one big order for all the figures at once, I can't, seeing as they already printed out a shipping label which seemingly mine nothing (will get to it in a moment). o.k whatever just 5$.
* a few day pass, I look up the order and notice my most recent order is already making it way to me while to order I place I week earlier as not budged, o.k small mistake while contact CS.
* The CS representative completely ignore what I actually wrote and tells me the shipping information can be easily found under my account, while mistakenly links to an unrelated FedEx order they have going to Texas.
* He's only human whatever lets just send a new email detailing the situation better, big nope and that one seen as the 2 email I have sent since then had been ignored
* Order #2 had already made it's way to my forwarding address.
* now I'm just waiting for them to crate a new shipment then tell me that I didn't look properly because that is so what's going to happen.
* by then the 30 days storing limit with the forwarding service will be up, and I have some nice fees to pay them (which will be just barely cheaper then paying for 2 separate shipping).
TLDR: Fuck Hottopic and Fuck store exclusivity (sorry for the rant).

Picked up the Funko Legacy Rocketeer at TRU today! Been waiting for this guy for a long time. I'm glad the helmet is a separate head, though I did have some trouble with the separate ball joint piece being stuck in the regular head. Not like anyone's going to use it anyway!
His gun is molded to slip into his hand and his finger fits into the trigger, though there's no storage for it on the figure itself. The jetpack isn't removable, and I would've liked some more hands, but I'm so happy to finally own him that anything else is a bonus.

oh for fucks sakes. so collector's corps closed by ticket for my replacement as "resolved". they never sent me any replacements. how can it be resolved if i never got sent any fucking replacements? smdh.

Note to self: stay away from Collector's Corps.
Regarding the claptraps, that sucks to hear. Was about to order one but I think I'll swing by tomorrow instead and see if I can see one for myself.

I find that with any POP figures in general, the painting is very hit-or-miss. There's not as much quality control as there should be. I've seen the chase variant of Smaug come out pretty badly, where one eye was fine, but the pupil on the other eye was fuzzy. I've seen the Sansa Stark figure missing paint half-way down her locks below chin level. It's the reason I prefer to pick up POP vinyls in person as opposed to ordering online.
this reminds me, I ordered the Doctor Who 10th Doctor exclusive from Hot Topic online. Picked it up today and was pleasantly surprised at the quality in which it arrived it. It was packaged well and it's obvious care was taken to protect it in the shipping box. Much better care was taken than what I've seen from amazon, thinkgeek, and gamestop.

POP Vinyls are old news, brah. Dorbz are hitting retail and they're totes adorbz (and have competent paintjobs).
This Marvel Collector Corp Pop figure is somehow better than Hulkbuster though!
But I legit saw the Harley dorbz today and I didn't buy it

I saw Nebula Dorbz today as I was walking out of Gamestop with Arkham Knight. Not only did I not buy her right then, I went home, hopped online and ordered her like a bozo.
Their quality really is through the roof though! Even the box they come in is fancier.

I know, the quality from one to the next (of the same character) is much more consistent than POPs. Gamora is super cute, too.

Welp... I am considering selling the next round of older pops I have.. Market looks good for some of these. Painful to think about but I just no longer have the deep desire to collect them and of course the value knocks me out.

Received my Ant Man Collector Corps box today. Pleased to report that there was no customs or handling charge for the box this time so the overall price was far more reasonable for delivery to the UK.
Love the super tiny any man POP! although I hope they don't intend to make a habit of just sending unmasked variants as the main POP! in future boxes as they just feel like the lazy variant option.
Also really like the mystery mini's, got the unmasked Ant Man and a Yellowjacket in my box, both of which look really good and have really nice paint jobs, no significant errors as I would have expected on something so small.

Wow you got the minis I wanted (I of course got the other two). One of mine came with the head broken off. I'm pretty upset about that, and the box for the Antman pop was completely banged up. Is there some kind of customer service I can contact about this? It's crazy that they would ship out these things in such bad condition. These are collector boxes after all.
They seem pretty bad at sending out tracking info tbh. I only got my tracking email on the 25th, the same day my box reached UK customs. they actually dispatched the box on the 18th though according to the tracker.

Paypal closed my claim in my favor and issued me a $20 partial refund, since at the time I said it was cool. I don't think I'm getting a replacement anymore, if I ever was.

MCC is awful. My Avengers box shipped out alongside most of the Ant-Man boxes.
I love my Hulkbuster, but I don't think I'll be participating in MCC further until they clean up their act.
