Great trailer, but I have no faith in Snyder. Every single one of his movies have had great trailers, and I've been disappointed in all of them.

Why didn't you like the watchmen? As a big fan of the graphic novel, I originally didn't like the changes in the final act. But i recently rewatched it and just love that movie.

Lex is going to bring Superman to his knees.

You know Wonder Woman is going to give him a beat down.

Batman and his no superpower self is going to go toe to toe with him.

Superman is a punk.

Just realized something:

That part of the trailer where Bruce looks at the article "Wayne Tower devastated" and it says "You let your family die" on it?
It's a letter he received. You can see him holding the envelope.

I BET Lex sent this letter. He knows Bruce Wayne was Batman and wants to get him back into it.

The newspaper also said "Dozens killed"

Pretty sure that is from The Joker.

It's more like Joker is taunting him, it's his 'font' which you also can see on the Robin suit.

I've got a feeling, genuine spoilers for suicide squad here
Its who ever Red Hood is going to be. We have the suit in this film, Suicide Squad is showing the flashback where Joker "kills" him. This is all lead into the Batman solo movie villain.

I imagine Joker being in Suicide Squad first is just as much about marketing as it is story. The Joker is arguably as big of a draw as Batman, so it's better for him to carry a new franchise rather than being in a film that basically carries itself.

I like these 3 in particular

That's one's great. Like a cool comic book panel.

Snyder gets what a lot of great comics artists also get - that it's interesting to juxtapose superheroes with the mundane or normal, and that it's very effective when you depict them without trying to emphasize their superhero-ness. The scene when he walks into the court is also a good example of that.

What is your favorite shot. Mine is still Bruce Wayne running into the cloud, that is an iconic moment

Seeing the towers from Bruce's point of view. Really shows you how the world perceives two super humans fighting it out. A sense of wonder and terror.

Bruce running into the smoke, staring Superman down, Superman landing and approaching the hearing, Superman rescuing people, Batman and superman crashing through the window.

I can see why Ben used mythic as a description.

I think I may stop watching trailers after this point, the movie is going to be great. The dialogue and even the visuals are improved over MoS.

Terrio is going to be the key change here.

I realize that but the buildings looked mostly empty during the Zod fight. Seemed that most of the people were on the streets.

What I should have said was buildings.

You don't just evacuate a major city like that. They had little warning of the attack so it stands to reason the city was still mostly occupied, and the general lack of citizens was an oversight.

Why would the Joker, who at that point shouldn't even be anywhere around anymore, write a letter like that to Bruce Wayne?

Seems like he will be taunting him throughout the movie.

I think Batman isn't around anymore. The events of Man of Steel make him suit up again. This in turn influences Joker to come back into the picture. (though he probably won't be in the movie) Just teasing Suicide Squad.

If you haven't read or seen The Dark Knight Returns I would recommend it.

That's clearly not the front page, though(most likely the business section).

To me it looks like it's referring to just the Wayne tower casualties, not that part of Metropolis.

Superman's human parents seem like assholes in this universe.

They're not wrong though. I think the key difference for me is Pa was more like "Don't out yourself ever" while Ma is "You don't owe these people anything, do what you want, I'll support you".

Yeah. Ma Kent seems to want to protect her adopted son while still allowing him to make his own choices... So like any parent ever.

Well, like most loving parents. Though, they could of put this Kansas hillbilly spin on it...

"Clark stop your bitchin! How about you fly over to the corner store and buy your momma a pack of reds, a case of bud and some scratch-offs.

my opinion on ben as batman has gone from completely negative, to completely positive.

if he takes the reigns from here on out, I think ill be completely fine with it.

oh, and I desperately want nightwing in this movie.. or a batman/robin/nightwing movie in the future
