Normally not one to comment on the ladies but man Gal Gadot is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen; glad she's getting a strong lead role like this instead of some sort of damsel in distress treatment. Absolutely bad ass.

I hope the writing will do her character justice.

I actually had to watch the trailer again to even recognize who is who from the more major characters (ok, that's more to do with the way the trailer was put together and not recognizing the actors to begin with except Ben Affleck). Then there was lots of stupid poses and somehow overacted facial expressions by Superman, maybe the actor just sucks?, Superman's adoptive mom looks like some 30-35 year old woman with artificial makeup to look older (don't know how old she actually is, but it looks so fake in this trailer even if she was actually old). Lex Luthor looks ridiculous, I just can't imagine him being like that. And yet another "dramatic" "Batman's parents are killed" scene.
Also don't know what the actual story is going to be, but even the idea of Superman fighting Batman sounds stupid, like Batman had any chance...

Sounds like you've already written the movie off. *shrug* We are not here to persuade you.

Man it's okay, seems like the movie isn't for you then. I think the trailer does a pretty good job in showing why they would fight.

eh effects are a lot more noticeable on an endless loop. That said I didn't have a big problem with Gadot in this movie, however she surprises me with how on point she looks in the few shots we see in the trailer.

I sat down and I thought, “I don’t want to do this warrior woman thing.” I can understand why they’re doing it, I get all that, but that’s not what [Wonder Woman creator] William Marston wanted, that’s not what he wanted at all! His original concept for Wonder Woman was an answer to comics that he thought were filled with images of blood-curdling masculinity, and you see the latest shots of Gal Gadot in the costume, and it’s all sword and shield and her snarling at the camera. Marston’s Diana was a doctor, a healer, a scientist. So I went back to those roots and just built it up again.

I think in general...I agree. As much as I want to see Diana kick ass, I hope they make her a bit more than just "sword happy warrior lady." The character is supposed to be much more than that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Miller does a DC movie as a trade off for getting to do Mad Max: The Wasteland (a little similar to how Nolan used his Batman movies to springboard into his own stuff, like The Prestige and Inception).

I think the DCEu means MoS Universe, Arrowverse, Supergirl, not being in the same universe just being the branch of the DC Multiverse that's on screen.

Well Grant Morrisons take on the character is essentially a person that is "high" running on speed force almost all the time.

So he has to build himself a suit, and then he paints the suit red like a Ferrari and is just speeding around like he’s on coke all the time!

Watched The Dark Knight Returns yesterday. I can see they've pulled a but from it now. Especially the Batman's suits and look. I'm sure this has been discussed already, but it was interesting to see for myself. Now I'm wondering just how much they've pulled.

The more the better, certainly will be more than Nolan did.

im sure they have some touch ups and things to do before release i wouldn't worry about how good the effects look , thats pretty much guaranteed to be nice.

That's great, I'm very glad he seems into it. His facial features seem right out of Francis Manapul's Flash artwork, so I really hope they take inspiration with colors and style for his film.

I really don't care for Carrie Kelly and Miller's depiction of Superman as well as Batman referring to his robins as soldiers. Batman looks to be the main aggressor in this movie and Clark looks to have some misconceptions rather than being a government lapdog.
