That's all Batman does. And yet they call Superman the boring one.
I want Superman to say "You know Bruce, I can kill you instantly but I dont cause I aint a murderer instead I will just let you believe you can hurt me"
He will never say it tho.

Setting up Lex as a modern-day Revere warning society of the coming danger these beings will pose to humanity's potential and ambition?
We can only hope
Even if she is, Batman's been out of the game for 10 years or so. I'd imagine she's maybe retired too. Maybe the Batman solo film will be a "gettin the band back together" kinda thing.I'm actually wondering if she'd be Oracle (or Batgirl) already in this universe
Judging by the trailer, it looks like Lex's sweet-talking will be more focused on getting in with the government to condemn Superman and allowing him access to figure out a way to destroy him. For example, who we presume is Mercy walking with two military men pushing Zod's corpse in a body bag.Just to clarify.
Possible plot points in BvS
- Fallout from MoS, Supes on trial
- Angry Batman
- Luthor sweet talking his way to manipulate Supes
- Zod/- WW plotDoomsday
- Batman vs Superman (city on fire?)
Plus the rumored cameo of Flash and Aquaman.
How long is this movie going to be?

Lex is even doing the people's eyebrow
I like this Lex, sort of. But who's with me in saying Duane The Rock Johnson would have been perfect for that role? He kind of looks like the Lex from the animated series, he's huge and a bad ass. I know he's going to bebut it would have been awesome.black Adam
I have faith in this guy though. Kryptonite will knock his hair off, for sure.
I took that as him mocking the senator.
i kinda want to know how that dude in man of steel on that boat was able to push supes away from the cage...does he have a switch that he can turn on and off or something or does he act ? acting all the time when something happens is a hard job for him you know :c

What time is the Affleck impression?
I think a lot of the people who view Superman as boring still have the image of him being an american invincible super hero.
Writers fucked him up so much and even though he isn't that anymore, most people still have the image of that.
Have we already talked about why Superman would be kneeling before Lex, allowing him to pet his face? What is that all about?
However after MoS he will instead say: "You know Bruce, I can kill you instantly but I dont cause I aint a murderer, except that one time when i broke Zod's neck, instead I will just let you believe you can hurt me"
Maybe Kryptonite (or some related tech). Maybe Lex has some leverage over Superman.Have we already talked about why Superman would be kneeling before Lex, allowing him to pet his face? What is that all about?
Dwayne sucks, I don't want him as Lex.
So true, and they'll just keep their stupid idea and constantly shit post in every single superman thread that he's 'boring'. Un fucking believable.
Kryptonite of course.
Not the rock, the song by 3 doors down makes Superman weak to the knees.
Even if it's the rock, Supes didn't look like he was in pain. He looked like he was actually kneeling, like a soldier to a king. I'll have ot rewatch

The more I watch this trailer the more im thinking this movie is going to be mediocre but with some amazing set pieces.
lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooo!
ACME style."This is how it happened. This, is how the Batman died"
Considering the look on Supes' face, he definitely doesn't seem all that happy about it. Maybe Lex has Lois hostage, and is like "bow to me, or I'll have her killed."

the guy who says "this is how the virus starts"... is that gordon?
Maybe, or like you guys said he's using the rock to make Supes do that and Supes is struggling against it..
I want Superman to say "You know Bruce, I can kill you instantly but I dont cause I aint a murderer instead I will just let you believe you can hurt me"

Alfred.
Greg Miller's theory about the desert scenes:
He speculates, that those soldiers are manipulated by Lex Luthor, thinking they actually serve Superman, their God and leader and the scene Superman arrives, is the first time Superman is there and that's why he looks so angry.
And Lex has also manipulated Batman, so he actually thinks that Superman is leading them and that's why he's there.
But seeing Batman killing this one soldier let's me think, it's just adream sequence
Part of me hopes that BvS starts off like The Two Towers and it starts right as Superman and Zod are fighting. It opens with Bruce walking down the street and then he hears the fight and walks around the corner and sees them fighting and then runs down the street.
Of course in reality this is probably just a flash back.

It'll be a two-and-a-half hour big-budget fan film and you'll love it.
Recently recorded a podcast with my thoughts but I'll put one of them here:
What if that dream sequences (what we assume to be dream sequences) are actually a vision that Wonder Woman (or another Amazonian, or even a Greek Oracle) sees as a possible future, if current events are left unchecked and allowed to unfold to their conclusion.
Thus she is sent to Earth, under the guise of being an Ambassador, but to actually steer the major players (Superman and Batman especially) away from that grim version of the future.

I think this is more likely:
"You know Bruce, I can kill you instantly but I dont cause I aint a murderer, except that one time when i broke Zod's neck and caused the deaths of thousands civilians, instead I will just let you believe you can hurt me"

How many times did Bale piss in the batsuit before they made a change?
That's brilliant if true.Recently recorded a podcast with my thoughts but I'll put one of them here:
