I've heard that the TV show was good from people that actually liked Terminator Genesys.
Only saw bits and pieces of it while waiting for Dollhouse, myself....

It was OK.
It suffers from the same problems as all movie -> TV show conversions where they end up repeating the stuff from the movies a lot with slight variations.

Apples and Oranges. Both Aliens and T2 were amazing.
The real reason is that people asked EvilMrWizard to allow customs after Smash 4 was announced. He asked how they could do that, they presented their plan, (the 3ds to Wii U transfer set) and then Wizard asked for a community vote on Smashboards. The resulting vote got around 80% in favor of yes. He then said that rules will be locked in by end of March. The people who are against customs weren't organized and IMO couldn't articulate good reasons to keep it banned, mostly because there was little to no data and most regions were not interested in exploring. Evo forced people to use customs and find all the info, even if areas such as Houston, Chicago, etc. Stayed default.
You can be for default, you can be for customs, but the constant argument for allowing it at Evo happened months ago.

Which is what Darkstalkers was originally supposed to be.
Assuming it's like MvC but with DC characters replacing Marvel characters AND has decade long support capability I am perfectly fine with that.

That would be okay. About as okay as a Capcom-only versus game. Better than nothing but far from ideal.
Without Magneto, Wolverine, etc. it's just not the same.

I'd be ok with it if it was the same type of gameplay and Capcom was developing. I have almost as much affinity for DC characters as I do for Marvel. It would be really interesting to see takes on DC characters in the Vs. system. But I can't see it happening like that since NRS already does DC fighting and Injustice was really good.
RT says a lot of things. I've seen okay 1% films and 98% films.that were more like 75%. I trust imdb over it.

Would be funny if they made Capcom Allstars with all-new Capcom characters like Magnet Guy, Weather Girl, Big Robot, and Claw Guy.
Yeah but you get Superman and Batman. Superman could have crazy Magneto flight speed and karate while Batman could be yolo in your face rushdown with grappling hooks and shit.

I never cared for DC stuff.
Besides the Versus series, where can I find Mageto doing high speed flying karate? Mageto doesn't heavily emphasize magnetism and Wolverine doesn't utilize any regeneration. MvC has always been pretty liberal in its interpretation of how these characters would fight. Capcom vs Anything is a suitable replacement so long as they use whatever other IP they get in a similar fashion.
