I like the show, if only because I want to see PA Works do some power battles.
Yeah, I want to say more like running really fast rather than instant teleportation. Mostly because he even says that his momentum makes him crash into things lol.

I believe the Japanese term he uses is often translated to "instantaneous movement" or some such thing. But yeah, it isn't pure teleportation. I'm pretty sure he just has super speed without the ability to brake instantly. I don't think it is pure running though because he can seem to launch upwards too.

It's not instantaneous teleportation. It seems like he chooses approximently where me wants to go and from there he gets moved really fast to that point. What gets in his way and where he actually ends up is another thing entirely.

Either it's the source of their powers or it's some metaphor for a "chosen one". It could be the MC or Charlotte.
Maybe the comet is called Charlotte...

Excellent episode. New OP and EP are on point. Also, for those of you that called the sister in danger, damn you... damn you all!
Episode 2 was great.
The scientist experiments were pretty predictable, but I didn't expect them to show up so early. There's still lots of mystery about the powers and what's going to happen to the characters. Gives me similar vibes to when I first started reading Rewrite. Here's hoping the "we don't know if something will happen to us tomorrow" line isn't any kind of foreshadowing, but I get the sense that things won't go well for everyone.
The OP and ED were pretty good, but some of the background music this episode was great and really set the mood. I really liked the song that played while they were standing on the cliff with Nao's brother.
I think this is the first time I've ever seen a tongue drawn as a heart lol

Yeah, they definitely laid the groundwork for future events in this episode, one of them is going to be very sad if it comes into fruition.

Yeah, definitely and after ep. 2 we are starting to see it a little bit with that monologue towards the end.
OP is still pretty good, but her Angel Beats OP still wins.
It's not my favorite opening, but the animation that goes with it makes up for the song.
Nao was great this episode though

So what's everyone's theory on the sister's potential death? it's probably going to play out like this:
1) Lelouch and the squad are hanging out at school
2) Wet map guy comes in and drips all over the map
3) MC: "But that's my house!!?"
4) The crew goes to MC's house and finds the sister with some OP powers she can't control.
5) Sister gets herself killed/caught by scientists. Bonus points if MC is forced to take control over his sister.
With the whole "siblings are likely to also get powers" thing that's going on the sister will probably end up with superpowers.
I wonder what the director meant with saying that the show is going to be slow until episode 6 or something. Guess we'll have to wait to find out.

Her power will 'awaken' and it'll be the ability to change matter. Downside: she can only change things into pizza sauce.

No way, this was the stupidest best thing I've ever seen, One day he'll build up enough courage to say that Pizza sauce is disgusting.
I'm assuming the little "experiment" was based on figuring out if MC can use other powers when he takes over someone who's gifted, I'm not really sire though. Any thoughts?

Maybe she just wanted to hold him after he passed out, and then observe his reaction when he came to and saw himself in that position.
