It's an incredibly awkward feeling knowing that on one hand you want to condemn the guy for being a racist and on the other you're kind of depending on this guy for having the potential to knock down Gawker, which is pretty much scumbag central.

There's other incidents as well, having trouble digging it up but stranded someone on the highway once because of her profession as a sex worker. Shameful.

It's a carny business, and they use carny bullshit to draw in the marks and get heat. Shit, I remember when Randy Orton brought up Eddie Guerrero's death not long after the fact to get some heel heat. And let's not forget this.

Point is, acting outraged over a wrestler performing certain acts when in character just exposes you as being so taken in that you forget what's real and what's an act. Though there is a line obviously, and Hogan went way over the mark.

Oddly enough, the one thing I hate the most about Punk is how it feels like an obligation for the crowd to bring him up whenever WWE is in Chicago.

Apart from that, I was never on the Punk train to begin with.
 
Punk doesn't even consider himself a good person. He's not a role model, he's just a guy. Most wrestlers buy into their own hype, like that deluded fool Jericho.

How can you be that surprised? Wrestling is rife with racism and Hogan was a known prick and sleaze, right? Sure that doesn't mean he's a racist, but it also shouldn't make additional personality faults a huge surprise.
