I just watched a really good movie by Rob Cohen called "Being Canadian "
http://beingcanadianmovie.com/
https://youtu.be/TC0tAdR_b3U
It touches on a lot of things including the world's indifference to us and our own inferiority complex and weird desire for validation and approval, as well as our cultural identity
I know there's all the jokes about "lol America junior" and stuff, some of which is true to an extent, but I'm curious what those from outside the country really think of Canada. My guess is that they don't think about us at all, really, unless our coke snorting mayor is in the news. But for those that do, what do we represent? Who are we to you? Have you been to Canada? Would you want to?
Just thought it'd be interesting to hear some foreign views, I don't know anyone outside the country so all I hear is the typical domestic conversations from my fellow country mates.
