Xbox Ones 2016 lineup is stacked!!

I will definitely say that their 2016 lineup looks more appealing to me than their 2015 lineup.

Still kind of underwhelmed though.

Such a great time to be a gamer. This is so exciting for me! I WANT THEM ALL!!!!
I see myself having enjoyment with all of them. I mean, hot damn. Thank you developers!

Yeah looks like the best year yet

Taking for granted that a new Horizon game will be announced too it's a 11/10 year

Without even counting all the other games that i'll get on PC, wallets be crying

I have my doubts about either Crackdown or Scalebound releasing in 2016. Both looked super-rough & early. Probably 2017 releases unles Microsoft rushes them out.

I'll probably get most of the games on that list. I still need to see more of Sea of Thieves and need to some actual game play footage of ReCore.

One question.

Why isn't Ashen in the OP yet?

As someone who recently bought a xbone next to my ps4 for the future lineup, I feel like the next 18 months are unbeliebably stunning.

Well that's just a shame of course. When I was younger I sold off my older consoles/games to buy new ones or other stuff. Not for everyone, I know, but I enjoyed it.

I've been fortunate enough to have most consoles growing up. Even now if I want a console I'll buy it, there's no allegiance here. To me it's easy to see someone developing a bias if they're forced into a single console household.

I kind of hope for a different Forza rather than Horizon 3. I love Horizon 2 and played way too many hours but I'd like to see something different.

I think it's pretty impressive we just a little over half way through 2015 but we already know 2016 is going to bring us 7 potentially amazing exclusives.

Recore
Gears of War 4
Halo Wars 2
Sea of Thieves
Quantum Break
Crackdown
Scalebound
Killer Instinct S3

I'll be getting pretty much every one of these games. Really will be an amazing year, not to mention 3rd party and anything unannounced for fall 2016.

Delays are always a possibility though.

Microsoft if shaping up to have a couple of incredible back to back years.

Fall 2015 is looking fantastic for the Xbone, and 2016 is maybe even better, with lots of new IPs and some classics like Halo and Gears mixed in.

Well, it says Xbox One in the title so it's a given. Not mean to jump on you or anything ;)

Holy shit, it looks so good!

I have done a couple interviews with the Ashen devs and a couple unofficial discussions and they do think they will be out in 2016. But man...what they have planned and haven't told anyone about yet. It seems REALLY short timing. Derek(the lead) is a one of a kind though, as are a good number of their team. I guess if anyone can press it out they can.

Fall 2014 was solid as well with Sunset Overdrive, Forza, and MCC, though the latter only in theory as the launch was rocky to say the least.

I'm surprised how much general disdain the XBO gets around GAF as, on paper, it's a very competitive console, especially among the mainstream.

I don't own a PS4 or XBO

My wallet is slightly crying at the sight of these games.
Good time to be an Xbox one owner. Great games and the games coming out Just look to be great additions.

I wish Sony would show stuff they have lined up for next year. Not pulling the trigger until ffvii unless it's on Xbox one of nothing grabs my attention.

Many of the new titles aren't my types but it is nice to see a more rounded line up - it is a good time to be an Xbox gamer IMO. MS certainly has surprised me with how much they've listened to criticism.

I'm looking forward to Recore and Halo Wars 2. Scalebound went from "Day one" to "Need to see more footage." The rest I'm not interested in.

Scalebound is the only one on the list I will probably buy.

I get motion sick just looking at Sea of Thieves with the floaty cam. I may get KI on PC, but I fucking hate the 'season' model, so it may be a year or two before they release a complete edition I would be interested in.

Recore Need to see more, interesting concept

Gears of War 4 bought

Halo Wars 2 bought

Sea of Thieves my most anticipated game

Quantum Break bought

Crackdown meh, however if the destructible environments turn out I might bite

Scalebound bought

Killer Instinct Season 3 50/50

Below bought

Cuphead bought

Forza X not too into racers

So there it is, wallet rape at its finest

I hope that cross buy just becomes a standard for the indie games that are going to release on every platform eventually anyways.

Recore
Gears of War 4
Halo Wars 2
Sea of Thieves
Quantum Break
Crackdown
Scalebound

*Killer Instinct Season 3

As well as indies like Inside, Below and Cuphead.

I just hope we get updates soon on Twisted Pixel and Press Play.

Forza Horizons 3 is a safe bet and I'm sure they haven't announced the entire 2016 line up yet.

The only ones that look great to me is QB, Cuphead and Below. The rest aren't doing anything for me.

The only game their I'm interested in is Sea of Thieves and that's also PC. Also a complete lack of any rpg whatsoever, Scalebound is more a action game.

Something for everyone my friend. That's why I think it's a great lineup.

Not everyone has the same interests. It's an undeniable fact of life.

If its 2 games per person on avg. That isn't a stacked deck in my opinion. Still way better than what they had this year though which is awesome.

Do you really think that is the case because the lineup is not to your taste? Generally hype for most of those games seems high.

So much concern-trolling, backhanded compliments, and downright shit-posting today.

Recore - Looks promising. I'm playing the wait and see game with this one.
Gears of War 4 - Day 1
Halo Wars 2 - I liked the first one but I'll wait on the reviews for this one before biting.
Sea of Thieves - Looks awesome but I'm not sure I will have the time for an online game like this. If the reviews are great then day 2 baby!
Quantum Break - Day 1
Crackdown - Day 1
Scalebound - Day 1
Killer Instinct Season 3 - Not my thing
Inside - Day 1
Below - WHY ISN'T THIS OUT YET!!!
Cuphead - Looks great. I can't wait to see the platforming they add.
Forza Horizons 3 - I may pick this one up. (I say this about Forza every year and never do...)

Mainstream hype? Or vocal minority hype?

Because aside from Gears, it's basically vocal minority hype.

Recore- can't form opinion for just a CGI trailer
Gears of War 4 - need to see more of it, but will most likely day 1 it
Halo Wars 2 - bought day 0
Sea of Thieves - not sure about it, need more info and more gameplay
Quantum Break - dissapointed in it so far, too much cover shooting, would like Alan Wake 2 better
Crackdown - bought
Scalebound - not sure about this one, need more gameplay and info

When it comes to indies I will get everything that is releasing on Xbone and PC on the same time on PC.

Some of those games will slip into 2017 I bet. It has never been the case that an announced lineup a year in advance materialized.
