Illuminati Confirmed

I bet that room opens up like that restaurant (noodle bowl) does on the China level

Ultradavid made the observation that Omega mode Thawk in SF4 has a lot in common with Necalli. Nash is similar to Omega mode Deejay too. So it's probably safe to assume that they won't be on the initial roster.

For those wondering about Karin, it might be a good idea to check out omega mode fei long and omega mode abel.

Well, that Juri tease sure came out of nowhere...

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind if she was the returning character of SF4 as she's the only interesting one to me. I already said this a while ago, but I like the thought of her, Bison and Urien (and Nash I guess) teaming up to be SFV's gang of baddies.

Why would urien wanna work with bison?

The SFV Nash comic they released seemingly has him join Urien specifically so he can get revenge on Bison. I doubt they will work together.

itll be baddies vs baddies bro.

Yeah it was just a silly thought that might be interesting, but wouldn't work at all story-wise.

Shadaloo vs Illuminati could be amazing.

This seems more likely.

I still wonder how they're going to handle story mode. I know they said they were going to do a better job than just have a bunch of random fights, rival, boss, the end. It'd be nice if it was more involved (as far as FGs go at least) like how NRS do it, but I'm not really putting my hopes up yet.

Oh look, another figurine pic with Juri in it. What are the odds? :-P http://p.twipple.jp/5FmMQ

juri makes to much sense not to be in the game, at least at some point maybe early DLC?

she is popular unique and checks to many boxes, female evil only korean fighter and not one cheracter that was original to SF4 has been announced yet and her feng shui engine is a perfect V-trigger

I would rather see characters we haven't seen in a while rather then put in Juri. I'm starting to feel like Karin, R mika , Urien & Alex are going to be dlc since they will sell.

That wouldn't surprise me. I could see any two of them in the Birdie/Nash grouping in that Evo panel slide.

My money is on Juri and Guile rounding out the last two sports on the left side along with Vega repping returning characters in SF.

You cant be seriously denying that Karin,Mika,Q..etc exclusion from SF4 is affecting their popularity.

I'm saying that there are lots of characters who were excluded from SF4. Karin, Mika, and Q, however are the only ones consistently toward the top of polls.

There's clearly more to it than "they just haven't been in a game for a while." Otherwise, Retsu, Geki, Remy, and Mike would be up there, too.

There's a balance:

1) characters who haven't been in the game for a while might get a boost because people want to see them again

2) but, characters who are frequently in games also get a boost because they're more visible and well known (see Ryu)

There are lots of things that "affect popularity" in this poll, in both directions.

And according to people I've spoken to who went to Gamescom, Birdie has a Cockney accent. I can't confirm this for myself yet (no footage of English Birdie has come out, yet), but I'll post it once I find it.

in my head canon he always had a cockney accent, neat
