Fighting Games Weekly |8/10-16| Gods(Beard) Among Us

So there have been a a lot of community made fgs of the 2d variety but has there ever been a 3d game that had a lot of influence or was staffed by community people?

The number of 3d games overall is incredibly small compared to 2d now that I think of it.

Thanks a lot. I forgot you mained Honda. You really put it in perspective, and that all makes a lot of sense. Can Honda not cross up?

Blanca can crossup with all his balls(hard to do with the upball and super, but still possible) and U1, honda can only crossup with buttslam. Headbutt even pushes the fallen body of your opponent if you dare to try to crossup with it.

Ky's jk always looked correct in a cross up. like some kind knee into grab move lol

Speaking of younger players rising up and what-not, do any of the older players here feel awkward playing around the young ones? There's a tourney coming up and I think of participating but I don't know how I'd feel.

I'm 33 and some of my good friends in the FGC are 19-21. I don't care because just as many are late 20's to my age.

Anarchy in the Nippon- old Saturn game created by VF2 tetsujins, who even put themselves in the game as hidden characters.

It really wasn't very good- though it did get a sequel at some point.

iirc fuudo and itazan helped with VF5FS

there are probably not many fighting games left that are not designed by ex-players. Maybe not famous tournament players but still long time fans.
