Sega opens a new teaser "neXt39" (probably next Hatsune Miku)

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Aww yiss. Please be Future Tone nextgen port. Please be Future Tone nextgen port.
If not, I hope it'll look more like P4DAN and less like previous entries, at least.

The colors of those lines are also the colors of the Vocaloid cast. The greenish one is Miku, both yellow is Rin and Len, pink is Luka, blue is Kaito, and red is Meiko.

...I'd be surprised if they added a plotline given they'd have to establish personalities for the entire brand at that point.

That would be a dream come true! Diva room doesn't even come close.

An everyday sim perhaps, or an idol simulator where u have to take the gang and plan out a concert!

No. As a user of Hatsune Miku myself, I want her to have no set personality whatsoever so I can have free reign over whatever songs I make with her. Everyone has their own opinion of what miku is. Every headcanon is canon.

if those strange people pay money to go see a hologram of Miku perform I bet that a Miku with Morpheus support would do pretty well in Japan

Do it and make Skies of Arcadia remake with the millions.

No, I didn't mean that. I mean visually . Miku in P4DAN looks fantastic. I really wish new in-game models looked that good, because even arcade version looks pretty bland and... I don't know... Creepy? Unsettling? Really bugs me in motion. Those lifeless doll eyes that pierce right through my soul *shiver* I think it has something to do with the fact of this being nor anime nor realism. Right in the uncanny valley

Dreamy Theater look is especially creepy:

Both Project Diva F games look a bit better, more on anime side, but still not really.

But I don't expect much from the new entry, at least in visual department. Games are sponsored by GSC, so they need to keep it as bland as possible to sell more figurines :/

Why not accept her persona for what she really is! A popstar.

Excited! I hope it's for Vita/PS4 and if they decide to port Future Tone I hope the do some work on character models. The ones in the F series look much better (=less creepy).

Poor Meiko, destined to always be at the bottom.

I really doubt this has anything to do with Xbox. That's not where their market is, neither in Japan nor elsewhere.

Considering the coloured lines in the background represent Miku, Luka, Rin, Len, Meiko and Kaito, the 39 theme, the countdown ending on Miku's birthday and that it has been a while since the last entry, I think it is safe to assume this'll be a new Project Diva. The one lingering unknown is if they'll go with PS3 again or move to PS4.

Oh cool, Project Diva F/f 3rd............hopefully with the Sega songs. I want After Burner & Magical Sound Shower.

Real question is if it'll be on PS3 once again along with the Vita & very likely PS4 versions.

How do we know that?

As long as it's not the "Miku da yo" version, I'm all for more Miku.

"Miku da yo" can go back to Hell where it belongs though. Creeps the crap out of me.

Miku for mobile would be...interesting. It'd be pretty successful if it was regularly updated and supported, I imagine.

I'd be happy for another entry in the Diva f franchise or even some PS4 love with Project Diva f Collection.

You could ignore it and keep your head canon?

More Miku makes me happy. Let's hope it's Vita, at least. Not sure how well I can play these games with a controller.

Considering PDF2nd sales, it might even go back being a Vita exclusive (timed or not) and the PS4 gets the arcade version, like they hinted a few months ago.

I haven't been following the sales. I take it Vita pretty much dominated?

Vita version sold better but I wouldn't say that the PS3 version did so much worse.
