Anybody know any places in the Cleveland/Akron area? lol
What if I couldn't get into Ground Zeroes at all. Is there any chance I enjoy this?

If you like games, logic and common sense say that you will like the game.
But you know... GAF.

This is an incredibly badass story on how open the sandbox experience is to the point it becomes a movie where you as a player have full agency with. Games that the likes of Uncharted and any other AAA title would spend millions on pre-defined set-pieces now given unlimited scope to how the player choose to engage with. *no spoilers*, but this is the kind of thing that is literally the direction Deus Ex and Thief have laid the groundwork on if they were given next-gen specs to work with. Many other reviews also attest to their own personal sandbox experience narrating their own stories:
NO QTEs.
NO SCRIPTED EVENTS.
PURE 100% PLAYER DRIVEN EMERGENCE.
Fucking boss! The true open-world experience that I've been waiting for all this time.

you still would need to complete past games, or else you wouldn't know what you are listening..
Ground Zeroes has very low history bits, juts about 2 cutscenes and some tapes to listen, you can easily find them on youtube to keep up to date. the most relevant thing is that final cutscene, I could say you can jump after that with no problems
EDIT: the final cutscene was even somewhat spoiled in the trailers
I've played all of them. Used to be my favorite series. Despised MGS4 and couldn't get into the gameplay of Ground Zeroes. I found it unintuitive and it just never gripped me. I want to like MGSV, I just wonder if I can anymore.
Btw has anyone got the 2014 E3 60fps gamersyde trailer archived and also the 22 min 2014 gamescom demo? Both vids are only avalable as streams now. much appreciated.
Yooo that is awesome.

Only Metal Gear I've played is Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Just played for a couple of hours (the opening and the immediate mission after that). The gameplay is fantastic and that introduction is breathtaking, bold, and incredibly entertaining.
As I said I've only played a couple of hours so I'm not even out of the tutorial yet, but immediately a couple of my fears have been realised, most pertinently the mission-based structure and its effect on gameplay and story. I feel very put out by the credits before and after each mission. I think it cheapens the effect of the game as a whole, and unnecessarily makes the entire experience feel disjointed. So far I've seen 'Written and Directed by Hideo Kojima' three times, and I really hope it stops so that I'm not constantly taken out of the immersion.
That's all so far. I'll post again tomorrow with a few more thoughts.
1) Best looking game I have ever seen on a console.
SickYooo that is awesome.

You must not play very many games because it's not even close to being the best looking game on consoles. I'm still trying to understand how you could think this.
Hideo making a starwars game would be amazing
