There's Intel you can fiND that shows you the location of miller, it's on the second floor in one of the buildings (sorry don't have the game on right now)
I'm pretty sure they mention that Amanda went back to Nicaragua in GZ. No idea what she's up to in 1984, though; I'm the only chump in the world who still doesn't have a copy of the game, apparently.
It seems that playing in offline mode has drastically improved my load times for missions and using the idriod. If you have very slow Internet and are getting some long load times, try disconnecting from the servers.

Wow, that intro was (impressions only, I've spoilered them so people who haven't played it don't have to read it yet)
so awful. I get the point that's trying to be expressed, but there was so much fat that could've been trimmed from that. It's one of the worst bloated, most overproduced tutorials I've ever played in a game. It could've been 30 minutes shorter. I absolutely hated that and couldn't wait for it to be over.
The new camera direction since Ground Zeroes also makes me very motion sick. There's a lot of rack zooms, constant close ups, and really bad shaky cam. I couldn't finish the movie Cloverfield because of motion sickness, and it's a really bad problem here. The same is true in The Phantom Pain.
I like the mood of the prologue and it does some cool stuff, but it is pretty damn long and I probably won't go back and replay it because a lot of what is enjoyable about it is lost on repeat playings of it, and what's not enjoyable about it is exacerbated. Overall, just finished mission two and I'm loving the game as a whole. Feels even better to play than GZ did.
Got through episode 1 and then the tutorial bits after. It makes a hell of a first impression. Overwhelming in a good way. I'm going to be spending a lot of time with this.
