Alright, I went back and easily S ranked my previous missions. They're easy to do so when that's what you're focused on. I just can't do it on my first playthrough them.

They show up as a small yellow dot on the map, they're kinda hard to see unless you zoom in really closely or if they've been already marked by you because that red tag on the map makes it that much harder to see the little yellow dot.

Thanks!

While I'm asking, if you get in a helicopter out in the field, do you have to leave? I'm just trying to have the copter take me to another part of the map but we just go back to the loading space.

Ok, guys, stupid question here but I can't find the option or see it ANYWHERE. I understand you're supposed to be able to play any mission again, etc. but I can't figure out how. Just got to base and Ocelot and I wanted to start the game over and play the prologue and stuff again now that I know what I'm doing. But the only option on the main menu is to "continue." I've seen online that it should be New Game/Continue but I don't have the New Game option. ARGH! How can I start completely over? And.....where do you go to replay just certain missions if you want to?

Thanks in advance...sorry for the stupid question!

Missions tab.

Main and/or side missions.

How does the cassette tape system work on the app?
I know you have to connect first to get access, but it does it automatically update your collection when you access new ones or do you have to sync with the console to update them?

Have had 2 6 hour sessions with the game. Tomorrow will probably be the same.

But then I won't be able to play until Saturday afternoon ish. Bummer :(

More like hilarious to me. The more he talks the more I laugh at the delivery he makes.

Hell sometimes it legitimately sounds like he's trying a David Hayter impression

That's odd, I don't feel this way at all. He sounds nothing like Hayter.

So, do the soldiers have like some overall accumulative el rating? For example: a soldier with A B A D E B would be better than solider with A B B E C D. Do they average out to something? Or does it only matter for the field you want to put them in?

From what I can tell they do not level up or anything (I think).

Feels good dying 5 times trying to figure out how to jump across a ledge...

I got it now..

Do you eventually get a silenced or tranq sniper rifle? Because I can't resist taking a high vantage point and taking out every motherfucker right now.

It leads to problems.

Is there much point using other suits aside from the sneaking one? Does the camouflaged ones offer much more value than the quiet footsteps? I am pretty tired at looking at the giant cock and balls on the back of the sneaking suit so I might switch it out anyway.

This game... holy shit.

I played all day yesterday and 6h today. Taking my time and I'm loving it.

Going to episode 15, completing some side ops now.

Triggering the checkpoint for a base when you need a supply drop and a buddy switch is pretty annoying.

I'm not averse to checkpoints but in an open world game they're shit more often than not.

medical bay oh shieeeeeeee

So I keep noticing a few of my side ops are replayable even though they have a check mark next to them. Is this normal or is my game glitching out?

Camo suits are very useful in the daytime. Go prone and stealth with the right camo on you'll be invisible. Especially in grass. You can even fool a guard who comes looking for you and is staring right at you. Just gotta have the right camo on.

How do you use the binocs to call in a supply drop? I think I only have the bombardment option. (Which I should use more often)

Dumb-arse question, am I supposed to kill every guard at every outpost/town to in order to capture it? Or are there some outposts you can't capture? Cheers.

Is there a silent way to destroy/disable equipment?

I'm not very far in, but it was Mission 4 or 5 where I had to disable some comms structures and I ended up using a grenade.

Just finished that myself.
I actually ran out the caves without firing the honey bee as was originally instructed, hoping it'd get me one of the optional objectives checked off, only to find another one completely contradicts it via not avoiding combat with the skulls

Just another mission to replay! I don't usually look forward to that in games, but I'm already formulating a new approach here.

I actually didn't use the Honey Bee, killed them with the good ol' assault rifle. It was pretty hard tho, and I actually ran out of ammo in a couple of tries. Those things are really tough. And fast. Loved it.

Heh, I kinda botched mission 9 was it? The one where I had to
run around destroying tanks

Riding everywhere with D Horse like an idiot getting spotted everywhere and my fire support usage was all like

Ended up with my first C rank.
