Downloadable replay?
That's the first I've seen of what I assume is "heavy" rain and that looks pretty damn good. Not sure why it's so dark inside the car, but the rain effects etc. look orright.

That's great to see from the AI. Very believable, very humanlike. Very encouraging. Any idea what setting the AI was on?
Yeah it was on the default for the demo (inexperienced?). I didn't adjust it at all my first time through.

I made a screenshot, tried to upload it and got a "try again later" error. Then rebooted and after 3-4 minutes of patching my XBO restarted and I still get the error message.
But if you know how the leaderboards looked before in Forza, it's the same now with columns for Position, Gamertag, Time, Car, ABS, TCS, Auto... and now also File. ABS, TCS, Auto and File can have the states empty, half- and full circle.
Sounds good with the "tuning setup downloadable", but don't ALL leaderboard times have downloadable replays?
Edit: just realized next to the table you get info on the selected entry, and there it also says "tuned by unknown" and the PP is not a column in the demo, you only can find out by selecting a gamertag/time what the exact pp of the used car was.

Nah, they don't all have them. The top place at Rio didn't when I last looked.
Going from memory on previous Forzas, no, I don't think all times have downloadable replays, just ghosts when you actually play it.
Was it not a paperclip in previous Forzas?

I've seen similar (2 cars skidding into each other and crashing in the rain) on Average AI.

I think it's just the one rain setting. Different camera views can cause confusion and the latest builds have slightly better effects now.

I'm not seeing whether the Forza 6 XBone bundle comes with the standard or deluxe/ultimate, I'm guessing it's standard.
Would I be best off buying the bundle, or buying a regular XBone and pre-ordering at gamestop/on xbox live?

I might be wrong, but I was under the impression that the only way to get the editions other than the standard one, was digitally.
I guess it depends on whether you are happy with the standard version or not.

I don't know which track people saw it on, but I nearly jumped up and wrecked on one rival challenge.

Yup so true. The cool thing with Forza 6 is that they managed to get it to look this good while still going for 60fps. Turn 10 is Microsofts Naughty Dog, they might not innovate the genre but they're pushing out new games every 2 years with superb quality that few, if any, other devs can compare with on the platform.

Likely not, but forza doesn't go for replicating a racing series anyways. It's just a new neat hazard that shakes up the normal line you're used to over thousands of laps at the track.

as a noob would I be missing out terribly grabbing a 458 Spider wheel $100 with no feedback or not do it unless I'm willing to go for a mad catz FF wheel $300?
i love the vibration on my controller so not sure I would appreciate no rumble or ff from 458 but don't know if I'll even use it that much or enjoy it yet.

Speaking of the Ford hot lap leaderboards, how do people run w/o TCS (in a RWD w/ 600 hp) and achieve better lap times than those using it? I consider myself a pretty good driver, but how are these guys accelerating out of turns in 2nd/3rd w/o having to baby the throttle until traction is attained, thus losing valuable seconds? I'm pretty much sliding around the entire track w/o TCS, albeit very much in control, but still.
Been playing since Forza 1 and this has always perplexed me. Still have a lot to learn I guess. Git gud?

If I have to use one I usually use TCS because most of the wheelspin I do is accelerating out of corners, not losing traction during them.
Also I found the Make GIF button on xboxdvr lol.

I doubt those times came in the first few laps of a run but I always find when trying for a good time you go into the zone and start to find the best ways to handle the car in corners, TCS sometimes bogs you down where you could accelerate half a second earlier without it.

Is visible tyre flexing still in forza motorsport 6? I found it hard to spot compared to how easy it is to see in forza 3 and 4.

Once I get a decent capture device (or upgrade my laptop so I can use the GameDVR on there) I am going to start a new Green Hell Series. And we will definitely have to do some runs in the rain and at night. Haven't figured out yet if I want to do them ALL in the same weather/TOD setting of if it would be better to mix them up.
Maybe all the Guest Drives will have to be in the dark or rain. lol
Sadly I think P3tran was permed
I think it started a bit ago because mine was on like 96% last night.

I was surprised how understated the lighting at Lime Rock is, the game looked all the better for it.
