Hmm I wonder why all side ops aren't still opened for replaying after you beat it... that's dumb

Because a lot of side ops take place in the same location so it wouldn't make sense for them to happen on top of each other. Besides I don't think anyone would want to replay side ops. There's 150 of them and like 10 variations of each mission. You only need enough open to grind for staff. It's not like Ground Zeroes where the side ops have a storyline or twist to them.

Any advise on how to stealth your way through missions?

And how do you get tranquilizer ammo?

Supply drops for ammo. As far as stealth. Mark all the enemies in a base from a cliff/hill. Take your time going in. Lure enemies away with empty mags/knocking. Dont stun or put anyone asleep if you dont have to. Sometimes its easier to move about unnoticed then have potential bodies that can be seen or wake up to rat you out.

I have to say as a relative Metal Gear newbie I find it hilarious that the first giant
robot
I fought was taken out by the minigun of a helicopter. Why are these things a threat again?

Why is there side ops that get the check mark when completed but they aren't grayed out ? All the target practice are like that for me. Bugging the hell out of me

Wow, kojima, you weirdo

Where does Ddog show up at on MB?

I've picked in up in mission but I've never seen it at MB.

A niggle I have with the game and I think it's a big issue actually, is that in Afghan it's nigh on impossible to ever get to a mission area without following the road to it. All these mountains that you simply cannot traverse because the sides are shoulder high for poor snake to get to. I think that leaves a pretty big flaw in an open world, do it anyway you want stealth game. 9/10 you just can't leave the beaten path to wander round and it's pretty frustrating at times.

If you leave bodies around they can be seen or wake up, yes, but fultoning them when no one is around is the best thing to do IMO.

For the
Hunt the Legendary Ibis
side op how do I grab him? He falls into the water and I cant get down there or I die.

Yeah I hate the damn sliding too. Sometimes it takes Big motherfucking Boss 2-3 tries to step up onto a 2 foot ledge. ???????

So on the various missions where you're taking on vehicles or it's pretty much essential that you used explosive weapons - the loop of using all your ammo then calling in re-supplies over and over is pretty shit, right? Or am I missing something and they've designed it properly with a place somewhere you can collect more ammo?

Nice little lampshade of the (MGS4 spoilers)
Dr Clark/Para Medic he/she retcon
in the 'Questioning Huey [2] tapes.
Huey talks about 'Dr Clark' being a genius in the field of genetic research, but so secretive and mysterious that nobody even knows whether it's a man or a woman.

Depending on where you are standing, I noticed he flies in different places. After waiting a while mine
settled down on a rock, easy shot

I liked that too, and it's is interesting because Big Boss absolutely knows. He's just being coy during that conversation I suppose.

How do Anti Tank mines work? I try to use them in Back Up, Back Down on the last part of street so I had a fail safe, but the tanks apparrently jsut drove over them without effect. I tried to put them in the middle and on the sides of the streets, but both got me no results.

HOLY SHIT. Just did that side op I was talking about above

my face when the rewards

JEHUTY?

Someone please, please tell me you can get the words Second and Runner for emblems

Can I ask the LE Bionic Arm owners a question.
Have you made your arm hold a pair of aviator sunglasses? And if not, why the hell not. If I had that arm it's how it would be on my shelf.

man I miss David Hayter so much... I did not notice it so much with ground zeroes but now its kinda unbearable. everytime kiefer says something I have to think about how the real Snake would have said it.

Quiet is the best, how sweet of her to leave ammo and suppressors out for me when she scouts ahead, really cool touch. It's also cool how she
starts to give little smiles and thumbs ups, and I also noticed she sort of grunts when I give her an order now that I have loyalty maxed, instead the radio static she did before.

And not to mention then posses she does in the helicopter...

Wow, Quiet is OP as fuck, what the hell? She's like easy mode, just use "cover me" and she clears an entire guard post in seconds. She's not even fully upgraded yet (I just got her actually), while DD & D-horse are at max bond.

While DD can be useful in certain situations, you'd have to be insane to take D-horse with you instead of quiet, unless something changes dramatically later (I just finished mission
13
)

I haven't tried D-
Walker
yet.

And not to mention then posses she does in the helicopter...

I've been taking her on a few missions yesterday to boost her stats and unlock her suppressed tranq rifle, and suddenly she starts doing this crazy yoga pose in the chopper and I'm like "ehhh.... I'm gonna close my iDroid for just a moment to eh, look outside. Yes, outside"

Is there any unique story content tied to the side ops?

I know
Paz
stuff is, anything else??

Spoiler that shit.

So I need clarification on some Quiet stuff.

When does she leave and can I get her back? I really don't want to do S ranks without her. If she leaves FOREVER that is a really bad design decision but this game is full of them so it wouldn't surprise me.
