That could also lead to him dying to Solid Snake. Having heard that revelation and thinking back to when all this stuff started (maybe the entirety of TPP takes place in a memory Venom is having?) makes Venom kinda throw his life away to Solid all while dragging Big Boss' legacy further through the dirt as a last "f u" to an old "friend".

No idea. From what I can figure, you could probably "talk" to her by interacting with her, but it seems to have been limited to a lot of lines with him just saying her name and telling her to calm down.

What happens to Eli and the metal gear and psycho mantis? They just float off and that's it?
And why was zero helping snake and making dopplegangers? Since snake was trying to bring him down. Was it to protect him from XOF? He didn't think he would build outer heaven?

Yeah it could have been such fertile ground for some sort of conflict between Venom and Big Boss and the fact that it's really not is the only thing about it now that bothers me.
And the fact that the twist is predicated on the premise that "You are Big Boss" I wish it could have been twisted into "Anyone could be Big Boss" ergo "Venom Snake/You/The Protagonist are expendable to Big Boss"
I'm not sure if anyone wants my fanfictionfied ending of Phantom Pain but if Kojima wanted my spin on things I would have had it so that Venom's realization that he's a double hit him the second he accidentally stumbles onto his potential replacement, extracting him still bandaged back to Mother Base, being contacted by Big Boss to confront him in barren version of Outer Heaven/Zanzibar, a fight between Big Boss and Venom ala The Boss vs Naked Snake, you think you won and you kill Big Boss, only to wake up on Mother Base as Venom II.
Probably a bunch of contradictions and plotholes in this scenario that I can't think of right now but it would have satisfied me, one of the two people playing the role of the legendary mercenary Big Boss.
The butterfly emblem trick? Neat, at least now I know it's not mandatory to lose Quiet to see the real ending.
But in the end I'll have to lose her anyway, or you can't Platinum the game. This is one of those few games that I really want to Platinum.
So once I do 45 there is no way to get her back?

FUK I hate GMP deployment costs. Done all of the missions and side ups and I could farm GMP I guess but I don't want to. I want to redo missions to complete all of the mission tasks but the GMP cost is too high.

I asked earlier and got no reply but between the cut missions, scenes, items, etc did they end up scrapping the platform exclusive cardboard boxes? I want my ps4 box on my head.
It's no wonder Big Boss is all fucked up in the head after her death.
But the Big Boss prequel games can be pretty much summed up as: The Boss was kinda a big deal.
Everyone kinda stems from her and her ideology on some way it's pretty fascinating.
Am I the only one that really wanted to know wtf the headphone jack in Chico's chest was about and kind of annoyed at how Chico is just kind of talked about dying on the chopper in some throwaway line of dialogue on a tape?
Also the fact that the return to Camp Omega was cut/never in the game/a lie/whatever annoys the fuck out of me.. and really the game has absolutely nothing to do with Ground Zeroes other than the end of it and that skullface destroyed mother base. But Skullface's characterization seems vastly different as well all the shit involving Chico.
The more I think about this game the more pissed I get..

Anyway, seriously fuck huey. Especially after listening to the full 10 min Strangelove recording.
If anything, Huey turned into the monster we were expecting BB to turn into before the game's release.

I don't think anybody was really. That's the worst part of all. Nobody was fooled. It just felt like "Oh look, Kojima's at it again" as opposed to "Oh wow, I totally didn't see that coming, what a compelling twist!".
A lot of people were predicting it but what really detracted from those theories was the assumption someone pulled out of their ass that just because it wasn't BB, it had to have been Gray Fox.
