Check the track listing

Where is this from??!

To be fair there are 11 tracks on that album

so that's a 1/11 chance.

or something.

no way this is real, but I do have to question how a fake troll site set up their site two days before the official listing of the internal shift of Kojima Productions...

1984 is the 9th track out of 11th on the Diamond Dogs album.

Yes, I have finished the game already.

If you have access to quiet:
Equip shield, equip water pistol.
Tank all attacks (cept the pillar thing), while locking one of them down with the water pistol
Have quiet murder them with sinful butterfly.

If you don't have quiet:
Equip d-walker, equip gattling gun.
win.

I don't want to believe it either.

But between PT and '9/11' from the radio, Kojima with that damn tweet...things are lining up and I don't want to believe it. It's fake. It probably is fake. No mad man would announce a game update on 9/11.

Maybe that was the taboo thing all along!

In the first 'Truth' tape, when Ocelot is speaking to Big Boss after his awakening in 1984, he mentions that the Man on Fire awoke at the same time. That's odd. How did he know about this?

Intel I guess.

That's just the map of Zanzibar Land's command headquarters.

Oh nice so Kojima retconned Zanzibar Land's command headquarters to be in the twin towers.

Just here to say: Metal Gear Solid V: The FILLER Pain

Jokes aside(and sorry for the english), i liked the game and i loved the breaking of the 4° wall. I'm "happy" to have helped Big Boss to be what he will become, because in a certain way he "helped" me to be what i am now … but this MGSV is a giant filler ... and i wanted to use Big Boss. I was also expecting the taboos, the demons, but there aren't any. And why the main song is called "sins of the father"? what sins? what father?
I'm not satisfied of what i saw and played(but in any case the gameplay is perfect).

The news of Volgin's escape was circulated in the intelligence communities. It was some psi op black site where they were keeping him and the whole thing burned down when he came to.

So someone please answer this.

What did Skullface exactly DO to ensure Operation Snake Eater was a success?

nothing official.

for all we know it was the pilot that was the fail safe if Snake didn't kill The Boss.

Cause remember, the main mission was to get the legacy, with the revision being kill the Boss to prevent nuclear war.

Strategically-placed Calorie Mate.

Also strategically placed a radio in an excessively long elevator shaft that played the Snake Eater theme to boost BB's morale. SF is a fan of that stuff.

No V was when Venom woke up.

V has come too, meaning V has come out of his coma too and it's time to do the switch.

MGS Volgin, d'uh.

I like to imagine while snake was being goofy with boxes and crappy scientist disguises, Skully was shaking his head behind him, cleaning up bodies, eradicating witnesses, and generally being like "This dude is a moron. And all this exposition is really making me hate the english language..."

Your milage may vary

EDIT: Christ Quiet without tights really reinforces how awful it all is.

Where are all the easter eggs this series is known for?

Threedogg is right, 60% or even more is just optional stuff nobody cares about.

WHERE THE FUCK IS THE STORY KOJIMA?

The Ocelot engraving callback is so lame in this.

It's almost like they felt obliged to do it. So much opportunity for cool. I'd loved to have Ocelot call for a duel rematch, even if they were squirting eachother with water pistols in Mother Base. Ocelot enjoying pouring more water into his gun a little too much. Could have been great.

By the way, are there mods that let us remove Mantis' gas mask in order to see his face? That would be... somewhat interesting I guess.

Also, MGSV is basically kinda like the S3 plan from MGS2, the Solid Snake Selection one, lol

They took a close friend of the boss, a guy that didn't have that much in the way combat skills and gave him Boss experiences and identity and made him into Big Boss kinda like how they made Raiden into Solid Snake, lol.
This is a super late reply but in the "Doublethink" cassette under "Truth Records" Big Boss straight up says medic "was always the best man they had" so that isn't completely true.
