It's annoying for me, I play both PS3 and PS4 and now I've been forced to go PS4 only.

It's weird too, why provide an upgrade path for your first year players but not one for your big second year release?

The thing that worries me is how it shows that I pre-ordered it on PSN when it was declined. Can't even buy it on the web store now.

EDIT: On Chrome it allows me to but not on Safari. Probably because of cookies or something.

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but you can buy TTK+emotes bundle already. I did it last week. It won't show up in the psn store, but if you log into destiny and click the TTK logo on the main director screen (under mars) it will tell you to buy it. There's the option for redeem code, just the TTK, and the TTK+emotes bundle for $60. You'll get everything when you close Destiny and open it again.

Quick example:

Say all my items,every single one,is light 200. I have a light level of 200 now.
I shoot at an enemy with my 200 attack gun and do 100 damage.

Now, I equip an attack 150 gun but also raise all my other items so I still have 200 overall light level.
I shoot at the enemy and now do 85 damage.

Even though i have the exact same light,I will do less damage cause my gun does less damage.

Now say I keep my 200 attack gun but raise my overall light to 220.
I will now do 115 damage to the enemy I did 100 to before.

I'm sure we'll get more tests for confirmation but I've seen a lot of people on Reddit say so.
It also makes a lot of sense because otherwise you could just still use gjallarhorn and such with only minimal damage dropoff.

Nope, and they're only 170 light. It's bullshit. You can't wear any of your own exotics and it's just going to be replaced by blues tomorrow.

Only the faction exotic class items are level 40+have the the exotic perk.

Pretty sure that's the exotic class items you get from Dead Orbit, FWC, and New Monarchy.

I ... really don't think so.

Light is just, literally, an average of a gear ratings, some of which are the damage values on your equipped weapons.

Damage should just be based on your weapon damage, right? Why would it be otherwise?

Gjallarhorn is a 170 damage weapon. If level 40 weapons have 280 damage, you would think that the difference between 170 and 280 would be pretty significant.

That's the one thing I'm also hyped about TTK. I loved that starting gun but you quickly replace it. It looks like TTK has some good guns in similar design.

No, the $60 is just the base game, Expac 1 and 2 and TTK.
